2019�s �Shazam!� was an attempt by the DC Cinematic Universe to open the door for more fringe players in the superhero game, building up the brand with fresher faces used for cinematic adventuring. The picture wasn�t exactly a screaming success, but it managed to inspire a sequel, with �Shazam! Fury of the Gods� arriving four years later, ready to return to the might of Billy Batson and his transformation into the powerful Champion, Shazam.
