Wonder Woman was introduced to the DC Extended Universe in last year�s �Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.� It was a supporting turn, but a notable one, unveiling the full power of the character before any history was established. It was a chance to see an iconic superhero on screen, finally taking Wonder Woman�s considerable comic book history seriously with a broadly powerful figure, fighting alongside Batman and Superman.
