Contrary to what many think, the Lovers card is mainly about choice though relationships are also an important part of the reading of this Arcana.

Lots of people wanted me to pair Ann with love interests but honestly, the relationship that I felt was the most genuine & important is hers with Shiho.

Here, Ann is choosing between seeing Shiho & keeping her eyes closed to her friend's situation. Ann feels guilt over not helping sooner so I wanted to depict that in this card.
