Synopsis

A community of nuns, who are in charge of an orphanage for girls, decides to motorize. A car is very necessary in their various tasks and, after signing the usual letters, they get the vehicle: a Citroën 2CV. Sister Tomasa (Gracita Morales), the most modern and rebellious of the congregation, gets to drive it. Soon she will be known in the streets of Madrid as 'Sister Citroën'. A 'title' granted after suffering a thousand and one vicissitudes at the wheel when she was a beginner. Now fully motorized, Sister Tomasa and Sister Rafaela (Rafaela Aparicio) will have to increase the collection of donations and take care of some orphaned siblings, girl and boy, who cannot live together because of religious gender segregation.
