Over 91 organizations have come to agreement regarding the Equity in Infrastructure Project (EIP). Some organizations met this morning in Milpitas, CA to sign the pledge, including VTA, San Francisco Bay Ferry, SamTrans, Caltrain, and more.. Executive Director, Michelle Bouchard spoke at the press event stating, "At Caltrain, equity and inclusion are core values. In signing the Equity in Infrastructure Project Pledge, we are doubling down on our commitment to people...Caltrain is committed to creating opportunity for historically underutilized businesses that reflect the communities we serve. Yesterday Caltrain had the opportunity to host a fun onboard activation for fans heading to see Billie Eilish at SAP Center at San Jose. Fans were first able to board the Billie train in San Francisco as it made its way to San Jose. Part of the experience included vinyl letters spelling Billie on the exterior of the windows, decorations, glow sticks, music, and an official merch giveaway! The team can’t wait for another opportunity to host another themed car! Thank you to everyone who contributed! 💚
