Each day Make-A-Wish® New Jersey creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses in the Garden State. We believe that a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us in everything we do. It inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve. Wishes have proven physical and emotional benefits that can give children with critical illnesses a higher chance of survival. And wishes not only help these children – they also have far-reaching, positive impacts on their families and communities.

Our friends from Grand Chapter – Widows Sons New Jersey, visited us to present a check for $10,500 raised at their annual charity ride this September. Their continued support of our mission will help restore hope for children with critical illnesses right here in New Jersey. Thank you for your dedication to our mission! On October 12th, Ian’s Run 2024 was held at RiverWinds Community Center is West Deptford, NJ honoring the life of Ian Thomas Dimitratos, who passed away shortly after he was born in 2020. Steven & Allison Dimitratos along with friends, family and supporters, ran a 5k to raise funds to help restore hope, strength and joy to the wish kids and families we serve. Together, $8,590.53 was raised for Make-A-Wish New Jersey! The family recently visited us here at the Wishing Place for a check presentation and tour. For Moci, ballet isn’t just a hobby – it’s a sanctuary. Despite the fatigue and disruption caused by her blood disorder, dancing offers her a mental escape – and a confidence boost, especially when performing in front of 2,000 people. “When I do get to stand out there and bow in front of all those people, they just look so happy, and I feel so happy when I put on a great show. I feel like, if I can do this, I can do anything, right?” – Moci 🩰💙 Moci’s wish to go to the ballet is a reminder to keep fighting. In September, our new friends at Livoti's Old World Market hosted the first annual Buca in Uno golf outing benefitting Make-A-Wish New Jersey. The family recently visited us here at the Wishing Place to present us a donation of $82,267.33. We are so grateful for the support and look forward to partnering with Livoti’s on future wish granting opportunities. These funds will go directly to granting the heartfelt wishes of multiple children right here in the Garden State!
