Explore Southland’s 70,000-square-foot mechanical, piping, and plumbing shop in San Antonio, Texas. We specialize in carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, solvent weld PVC, cast iron, and PVDF fusion plumbing. Our shop also fabricates hangers, structural frames, assemblies, skids, and multi-trade racks. With 10 active welding booths, we can weld anything from 1 inch to 36 inches, producing up to 10,000 diameter inches per month per 8-hour shift. "Once the multi-trade racks were complete, it was like Legos out there in the field. This #STEMDay, we’re spotlighting Katherine Wright’s dedication to mentoring future generations through the Mentoring Young Women in Construction (MyWIC) program. Katherine first discovered the opportunities in construction while studying at Drexel University. Since then, she has championed the inclusion of women in the industry throughout her career. Recently, Katherine served as a mentor during the MyWIC construction industry day camp, inspiring 7th to 12th-grade girls in the Philadelphia area to explore careers in construction.
