This is what our Empire State Building studio looks like right before a live show 👀 🎬 Follow our video editor Oriel Danielson behind the scenes of our shoot with bestselling author and influential thought leader Malcolm Gladwell. It’s all hands on deck fine tuning every detail before show time. Top of mind? 1️⃣ Getting the studio ready. We spent a lot of time finessing the lighting and sound, a difficult task when you’re only 45 feet above 5th Avenue in Manhattan. 2️⃣ Prepping for the interview itself. Wall Street bonuses are on the rise again — from banking to investing — and experts predict ‘robust’ hiring as a result LinkedIn News on LinkedIn - Demand for green talent is outstripping supply. According to new data from LinkedIn's Economic Graph, green demand surged by 11.6% last year, while supply only grew by 5.6%. To put that another way, by 2030, nearly one in five jobs requiring green skills could go unfilled. By 2050, that figure could balloon to one in two jobs. This means it’s a great time to go green — worldwide, the hiring rate for job seekers with green skills is 54.6% higher than the rest of the workforce. In the U.S., that figure jumps to 80.3% higher. Some of the fastest-growing skills for these workers include building performance, responsible sourcing and environmental due diligence. Sectors welcoming workers with such skills at higher rates include the utilities industry, driven by the rapid expansion in renewable energy, along with the construction and manufacturing industries. What’s your best advice for workers looking to break into these roles? Weigh in below. And see more LinkedIn data on this topic here: https://lnkd.in/d8NSZXqA
- How do you make your personal brand unforgettable? Start by mastering your content. Here are 3 ways Gary Vaynerchuk says you can level up your next video: 1️⃣ Craft a hook that captures attention within the first 3 seconds 2️⃣ Talk about things you're actually knowledgeable about because “the meat matters” 3️⃣ Be passionate. People will feel it if you’re not… “At the end of the day, you have to be yourself. Not everyone has gift of gab or charisma or explodes on the camera,” says Vaynerchuk. “There’s no best tactic to completely win over an audience, there’s a lot of different ways to do it.” 🗣️ Get advice from Gary Vee about those “different ways to do it” during a live conversation for Premium subscribers on Wednesday, Nov. 20.
