Exciting news! The City of Detroit has broken ground on Preserve on Ash I (POA I) in North Corktown, part of a 1Binvestmentinaffordablehousing.Thisprojectincludes69mixed−incomeunitsand5,800sqftofretailspace,madepossiblebya1B investment in affordable housing. This project includes 69 mixed-income units and 5,800 sq ft of retail space, made possible by a 1Binvestmentinaffordablehousing.Thisprojectincludes69mixed−incomeunitsand5,800sqftofretailspace,madepossiblebya30M Choice Neighborhoods grant. Phase I features 48 units restricted to 30%-60% AMI. - LISC Detroit hosted a full day training for Workforce Coaches in our Greater Detroit Centers for Working Families Network on July 24, 2024. During the training, facilitated by Workforce Professionals Training Institute (WPTI), workforce professionals got to share their expertise and learn from others on strategies that get job seekers hired and empowering job seekers to effectively manage their job search process.
