Pretoria is a historical town in Gauteng, just outside the City of Gold, Johannesburg. It exudes a very special charm, thanks to its green, leafy appearance, and its wealth of historical and cultural riches. Theresa Park is a suburb in this town, known for its being well established as a residential hub, as well as for its elegant homes and upmarket appeal.
This suburb, and the greater Pretoria area, is part of the City of Tshwane Municipality. In addition to the political history of the area, which makes it a very important part of the South African identity, Pretoria is also particularly pretty, with Jacaranda trees flanking the streets and lush greenery all around. The National Zoological Gardens of Pretoria are situated close to Theresa Park and are recommended for young and old alike. Suspended cableways allow visitors to get the best views of the zoo, while golf carts cater to those who tire easily or cannot walk long distances.
Thanks to its positioning, Theresa Park benefits from the temperate weather conditions of Gauteng, where summers are hot and sunny with afternoon thundershowers, and winters are cool and dry.
