Located on the brink of the countryside, as you leave the city of Pretoria behind, the picturesque Silver Lakes Country Club comes into view. As the name suggests, the country club has an abundance of lakes that provide beautiful vistas, water for the perennially green fairways and excellent challenges for the golfer.

Water actually comes into play on ten of the championships course�s eighteen holes and can prove to be a real thorn in your side if not paid close attention. The Peter Matkovich designed course provides four different tee options ranging from championship to ladies and the total length measures in at 6575m.

This highly sought after parklands course has been called a must play by many a golfer and visitors are gladly welcomed every day of the week except Saturday mornings. It is advisable to book your Pretoria hotel or accommodation and your tee-off times ahead to avoid disappointment.

Since 1993 Silver Lakes has provided a rich golfing experience and this extends to the clubs facilities, which include: locker rooms; pro shop; driving range; golf cart hire; bar; halfway house; beverage cart and more.
