memccpy(3) Library Functions Manual memccpy(3)

NAME top

   memccpy - copy memory area

LIBRARY top

   Standard C library (_libc_, _-lc_)

SYNOPSIS top

   **#include <string.h>**

   **void *memccpy(void** _dest_**[restrict .**_n_**], const void** _src_**[restrict .**_n_**],**
                 **int** _c_**, size_t** _n_**);**

DESCRIPTION top

The **memccpy**() function copies no more than _n_ bytes from memory
area _src_ to memory area _dest_, stopping when the character _c_ is
   found (_c_ is copied).

If the memory areas overlap, the results are undefined.

RETURN VALUE top

The **memccpy**() function returns a pointer to the next character in
_dest_ after _c_, or NULL if _c_ was not found in the first _n_ characters
   of _src_.
