Morphology:

Prismatic crystals flattened along [100], elongated along [001] and with an orthorhombic cross-section. Crystals are typically characterized by three simple forms: {100}, {140} and {081}?. The forms {010} and {410}? occur as narrow faces.

General Appearance of Type Material:

Xenomorphic crystals up to 100 µm, rare colorless crystals (< 300 µm long) and stellate growths, and as polycrystalline reaction rims (< 200–250 µm thick) on calzirtite.

Geological Setting of Type Material:
