dbo:abstract The Frauen DFB-Pokal 2005–06 was the 26th season of the cup competition, Germany's second-most important title in women's football. The first round of the tournament was held on 7 August 2005. In the final which was held in Berlin on 29 April 2006 Turbine Potsdam defeated FFC Frankfurt 2–0, thus claiming their third title. It was the third consecutive final contested between Potsdam and Frankfurt. (en) Der DFB-Pokal der Frauen 2006 wurde vom 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam gewonnen. Die Brandenburgerinnen gewannen damit zum dritten Mal in Folge den Wettbewerb und sicherten sich wie 2004 das Double. Im Finale schlug man den 1. FFC Frankfurt mit 2:0. Allerdings tat man sich deutlich schwerer als in den Vorjahren. Zum ersten Mal seit Jahren erreichten wieder Clubs der 2. Bundesliga (Sand, Crailsheim und Saarbrücken) das Viertelfinale. Allerdings schied das Trio durch hohe Niederlagen aus. Außerdem durften zum ersten Mal keine zweiten Mannschaften mehr am DFB-Pokal teilnehmen. Sofern eine zweite Mannschaft den Verbandspokal gewonnen hat rückt der unterlegene Finalist nach. La finale si è svolta all'Olympiastadion di Berlino il 29 aprile 2006, ed è stata vinta dal Turbine Potsdam per la terza volta, e la seconda consecutiva, nella sua storia sportiva, superando le avversarie del 1. FFC Francoforte, alla loro ottava finale di Coppa consecutiva, con il risultato di 2-0. (it)
