Achmad Yurianto (11 March 1962 – 21 May 2022) was an Indonesian military doctor and bureaucrat who was appointed the spokesperson to the COVID-19 Response Acceleration Task Force during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. (11 Maret 1962 – 21 Mei 2022) adalah seorang dokter asal Indonesia yang menjabat sebagai Staf Ahli Menteri Kesehatan Bidang Teknologi Kesehatan dan Globalisasi. Sebelumnya, ia menjabat Direktur Jenderal Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Penyakit Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia. Sejak merebaknya pandemi koronavirus jenis baru di Indonesia pada awal tahun 2020, ia ditunjuk sebagai juru bicara pemerintah pada lembaga Gugus Tugas Percepatan Penanganan COVID-19 sejak 12 Maret hingga 20 Juli 2020. Ia adalah lulusan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Airlangga, Jawa Timur angkatan tahun 1990 dan banyak berkarier sebagai dokter di lingkungan Tentara Nasional Indonesia. (in) |
