The GE U20C diesel-electric locomotive was introduced by GE Transportation Systems as an export model in 1964. It was powered by the 8-cylinder 7FDL-8 engine. This locomotive is used worldwide with many variations and modifications. Different engines may be used, e.g. 7FDL8 and 7FDL12. Like the other members of the Universal series, and can be built to suit all track gauges. (en)
CC203形ディーゼル機関車は、ゼネラル・エレクトリック (GE) の電気式ディーゼル機関車であるのインドネシア鉄道における形式呼称である。CC201形の設計を発展させたもので、車体の短い側の先頭部分 (フード) を空力的な形状とし、運転室からの視界が改善されたほか、外観の無骨さが和らげられた。この機関車の車軸配置はCo'Co'で、2台の台車の各台車の3動軸を独立した電動機で駆動することを意味している。1995年から2002年にかけて41両が製造されたが、うち4両を除き、インドネシア運輸省を通じGEから資金協力を受けたために、車体前面に同省のマークが取り付けられている。最初の12両を除きPT INKAとGEトランスポーテーションの合弁であるGE Locomotive Indonesiaにより、インドネシア現地で生産された。37両がジャワ島に、4両がスマトラ島南部に配置されている。 (ja)
A GE U20C é uma locomotiva diesel - elétrica produzida pela GE entre os anos de 1960 e final dos anos de 1990. Foram produzidas pouco mais de 984 unidades nos EUA, Brasil, Indonésia, África do Sul e Alemanha neste período, sendo muito utilizada em países em desenvolvimento. Foi projetada para linhas com restrições de gabarito e peso, típica de países em desenvolvimento, e são capazes de operar em qualquer bitola, de 0,914 a 1,676m. (pt)
