En stéréochimie, une conformation décalée est un cas de conformérie d'un édifice moléculaire dans laquelle les trois liaisons formées par deux atomes ou groupes d'atomes attachés à deux atomes adjacents forment un angle de torsion égal à (ou voisin de) 60°.

It is the opposite of an eclipsed conformation, in which those substituents are as close to each other as possible. Such a conformation exists in any open chain single chemical bond connecting two sp3-hybridised atoms, and is normally a conformational energy minimum. Dit komt voornamelijk tot uiting bij de constructie van de Newmanprojectie. Daarbij is duidelijk te zien dat de substituenten elkaar niet hinderen (de tussen elk substituent bedraagt 60°). Dat zorgt ervoor dat de geschrankte conformatie een stuk stabieler is dan de geëclipseerde conformatie (ongeveer 12,5 kJ/mol). Dergelijke conformaties komen voor bij sp3-gehybridiseerde koolstofatomen, omdat er een vrije draaibaarheid ontstaat aan de sigma-binding. Bijgevolg kunnen een groot aantal conformaties worden aangenomen, waaronder de stabiele geschrankte conformatie.
