- أسامة عبد العزيز النجيفي سياسي عراقي شغل منصب رئاسة مجلس النواب العراقي منذ 11 نوفمبر 2010 وحتى 2014. ولد في الموصل عام 1956 لعائلة ثرية من ملاك الأراضي والسياسيين. بكلوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية من جامعة الموصل عام 1978، وبعد ذلك عمل في قطاع الكهرباء في الحكومة العراقية لمدة 12 عاما، وشارك في إعادة بناء محطات الكهرباء في العراق عام 1992. - Usama an-Nudschaifi (arabisch أسامة عبد العزيز النجيفي, DMG Usāma ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz an-Nuǧaifī; * 1956 in Mossul) oder Osama el-Nudschaifi ist ein irakischer Politiker. Seit dem 10. Oktober 2016 ist er einer der drei Vizepräsidenten des Irak, zusammen mit Nuri al-Maliki und Ijad Allawi. Er studierte Elektrotechnik an der Universität Mossul. In der Irakischen Regierung 2005 war an-Nudschaifi Mineralien- und Industrieminister. Vom 11. November 2010 bis zum 15. Juli 2014 war an-Nudschaifi Präsident des Repräsentantenrats des Irak. Seit 9. - Osama Abdul Aziz al-Nujaifi or Najifi (Arabic: أسامة النجيفي; born c. 1956 in Mosul) is an Iraqi politician and served as one of the three vice presidents of the country, from 2014 to 2015 and 2016 to 2018. As the speaker of the Council of Representatives, the informal leader of the moderate Sunni al-Hadba party was the highest ranking Sunni politician of Iraq. An engineer by profession, al-Nujaifi served as Minister of Industry in the 2005–06 Iraqi Transitional Government. He later won the 2010 parliamentary election and was elected the Speaker of the Council of Representatives. During this time, he built up a reputation as prime minister al-Maliki staunchest adversary, whom as a Sunni he could defy but not challenge. After leaving offices together with al-Maliki in 2014, he was rewarded the ceremonial post of a Vice President of Iraq, which he held until 2015. The positions of all three Vice Presidents was restored in October 2016. (en)
