After the break, Mathieu Manset beat the offside trap to chip over Glennon, and Stuart Fleetwood finished from close range to make it four. County's misery was complete when Mansour Assoumani headed an own goal. Stockport manager Paul Simpson told BBC Radio Manchester: "We got what we deserved today. Unfortunately we've been beaten by a side that's done all the basic things properly and we've just been kamikaze the way we've defended. "We've got to get ourselves dusted down as these are the same players that have been on a decent run of late but they've had a real wake up call today. "We've got to try to address how we've caused ourselves problems, how to communicate with each other and get a better understanding as we haven't made Hereford work hard for their goals." Hereford caretaker manager Jamie Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "Things are going great at the moment but that is down to the players - we have guided them a bit but they have got to take the credit for that. "We have worked in the week on our defending and we have got a clean sheet and all four of them at the back have been excellent today while we also defended as a side. "We worked so hard throughout the course of the game and got into our shape and denied them (chances) more often than not."
