Chesapeake was also cancelled from the next convoy, BHX 68 (see also HX 60). She does not show up again until (B)HX 72 on Sept. 8, though went into Halifax, later joining HX 80 from there on Oct. 12.
Convoy HX 67 Cruising Order Departed Halifax on Aug. 20-1940 and arrived Liverpool on Sept. 4 (Arnold Hague gives 37 ships for the combined convoy in his "The Allied Convoy System").

Also, Laconia - as AMC Escort.*Titus had originally been scheduled for the Bermuda portion of HX 66. Also from HX 66 (main portion): Tolosa (later Empire Dorado), Belita and Saltersgate. (Solstad had been cancelled from BHX 64). **Baron Cawdor and Auretta were detached on Aug. 22 and returned to port - both are listed in Convoy SC 2 from Sydney, C.B. on Aug. 25 Additionally, according to notes for Convoy SC 2, Lanark, sailing in that convoy, came from HX 67. Other ships may have been scheduled but did not sail, see "Remarks" column for HX 66.

Notes - Bermuda portion:
The following ships were also scheduled for the Bermuda portion, but did not sail:
Caledonia - Norwegian tanker, for Clyde (from previous convoy). There's a note saying, "To be sent to Halifax to await orders". According to a document showing her voyages in this period, she sailed from Bermuda (Aug. 19) to Halifax, with arrival Aug. 22, and does not show up again until Convoy HX 82 from Halifax on Oct. 20.
Californian - steel, scrap iron, general, motor boats, for Glasgow. Sailed in BHX 68.
Corbis - tanker, for Clyde, "To be sent to Halifax to await orders" (see HX 69)
Diplomat - steel, general, explosives, for Liverpool. Sailed in BHX 68.
Industria - lead, lumber for Belfast, had already sailed in HX 66.
Pagasitikos - scrap iron, for Belfast f. o.
President de Vogue - Norwegian tanker, for Clyde (also from Bermuda portion of previous convoy), "To be sent to Halifax to await orders". This document listing her 1940 voyages shows that she arrived Halifax from Bermuda on Aug. 21, and she does not show up again until Convoy HX 86 from Halifax on Nov. 10.

The convoy arrived rendezvous on Sept. 1.

Escort (Bermuda portion): HMS Emerald (which also acted as Commodore vessel, sailing between columns 4 and 5 - Vice Commodore for the Bermuda convoy was in Rimutaka).
