Notes:
Commodore Captain S. H.(?) White R.N.R. was in Athelprince.
Vice Commodore vessel was intended to be Llangollen, but this ship is crossed out on the convoy form (listed in ON 124, as mentioned).
Rear Commodore was in Silverelm.

Columns were to be 3 cables apart during the day and 5 cables apart during the night, with the ships in each coulumn to be 2 cables apart.

Empire Breeze was torpedoed by U-176 and U-438 on Aug. 25 with the loss of 1 man, 48 survived.
Katvaldis was sunk by U-605 on Aug. 25, 3 dead - 40 survivors picked up by Stockport. (R.W. Jordan gives 44 survivors).
Sheaf Mount was also sunk by U-605 on Aug. 25, 31 died - 26 (27?) survivors rescued by Stockport.
Trolla was sunk by U-438 Aug. 25, 5 died + 1 who died of his injuries later - follow the link for more information. Survivors were picked up by the escorting Potentilla.
(Dates given above are according to German time).
Gloxinia also sent out an 'attacked by U-boat" signal, but this is not mentioned in any of my sources (see Commodore's report on Page 2).

Stockport (requisitioned July 8-1941) was on her 6th voyage as rescue vessel. She joined from Clyde on Aug. 16-1942 and arrived Halifax on Sept. 1, then returned to the U.K. with Convoy SC 99 from Halifax on Sept. 5 - to Clyde Sept. 20.

All the Norwegian ships in this convoy are included on this website - see alphabet index below.
