Lil' Kim's rise to the ranks of rap artist began with a stormy adolescence complete with family conflicts, volatile relationships, and temporary work as a salesgirl at Bloomindales. She befriended an unknown rapper named Christopher Wallace (later to be known as The Notorious B.I.G.) who eventually helped launch her own rap career. The 2 also became romantically until (and reportedly after) The Notorious B.I.G. married songstress Faith Evans. 1994....
