- We are seeking Expressions of Interest to assist in developing a strategic and operating plan for the Australian Agricultural Sustainability Framework. The AASF has built strong stakeholder support throughout its last five years of development. Now, it has reached a critical point and needs to evolve from being separate, but aligned, programs of work, to being under a single operational entity capable of maintaining the framework and providing sustainability related services to the industry. We are welcoming nominations for an Advisory Committee to support the development of the future operating model for AASF and a strategic plan. Impartial (i.e. unbiased), expert stakeholders are being sought. More information is available on the AASF website: https://lnkd.in/gqyi2Y5yExpressions of interest are being sought by 27th September 2024.

- With the Victorian Government recently ending the dingo unprotection order in Victoria’s northwest, and the review of the order in the remainder of the state still underway, there is an understandable worry from industry and other stakeholders that wild dog control measures will be completely removed, and wild dog populations will spiral out of control. This not only puts Victoria’s sheep and wool industry at risk, but could also devastate these industries in NSW and SA. Ultimately, this could lead to producers exiting the industry. #vicwilddogs #nwdapKeep updated on progress ➡️ https://buff.ly/4fdknEI
