Yarbrough Strategic Advisors is a Dallas-based firm that focuses on fraud investigations, intellectual property cases, computer and accounting forensics and business litigation. It was founded by former Assistant U.S. Attorney Matthew E. Yarbrough, whose cases as a federal prosecutor included the prosecution of the globalHell organization, the band of computer hackers whose activities included hacking into a company Web sites. Areas of practice include cybercrime investigations, corporate espionage cases, governance and compliance issues, internal investigations, and data security and data breach cases. YSA's managing director of investigations for its clients, A.J. Irwin, is a former covert federal agent with whom Yarbrough worked closely on several prominent alien smuggling and immigration cases while an assistant U.S. attorney. That included the Operation Seek and Keep case in 1998, which former Attorney General Janet Reno called "largest alien smuggling organization to ever be completely dismantled."
