This study aims to overcome difficulties in obtaining teaching materials of advertisement text, s... more This study aims to overcome difficulties in obtaining teaching materials of advertisement text, slogans, and posters in SMP/MTs during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is oriented towards making digital modules of advertisement text, slogans, and posters that can be used as alternatives for educators and students. The development of teaching materials in digital form is important for educators and students. Digital technology has helped the world of education with various applications, software, and websites, such as the 3D PageFlip application and so on. The research process is carried out in stages starting from data searching, data analysis, developing, testing, to making digital teaching materials products that are ready to be used. Data search using instruments in the form of questionnaires, documentation observation, document analysis, and student worksheets. Data analysis was carried out by analyzing data on the need for digital teaching materials and analyzing advertisement texts, slogans, and posters from various public media. The results of developing digital teaching materials for advertisement texts, slogans, and posters were validated by several experts. The results of validation and revision were carried out to students in the implementation of learning activities. The results showed that the digital teaching materials of advertisement texts, slogans, and posters were valid and feasible to use. The presentation of teaching materials for advertisement texts, slogans, and posters in digital form can increase students' learning motivation since it is more interactive and interesting.

This study aims to obtain digital teaching materials of persuasion texts to reduce the occurrence... more This study aims to obtain digital teaching materials of persuasion texts to reduce the occurrence of learning loss, as the impact of distance learning and physical distancing policies to prevent the spread of COVID-19 that implemented in Junior High School and other schools in Indonesia. Learning loss occurs because students do not get teaching materials that can be studied independently. This digital teaching material of Persuasion Text, designed as Autonomous Learning Materials (ALM) is suitable for distance learning. The design of teaching materials is carried out using Research and development (R&D). The stages of teaching material include three main steps; preliminary research phase; design or prototyping phase; and the assessment phase. The results of the development are; (1) obtain a design of digital teaching material of persuasive text that can be downloaded from google drive or youtube channel via quick response code (QR Code) on a smartphone; (2) the application of digital teaching materials for persuasion texts for online learning can help 82% of students achieve learning goals, namely achieving scores above the Minimum Completeness Criteria/Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM); (3) the responses about the application of persuasive text digital teaching materials for online learning are 81% of students stated that these teaching materials can help students achieve learning goals, are very interesting, and could practice writing skills. These results indicate that the digital teaching materials of persuasion texts are effective and feasible to use for teaching and learning activity.

Pelajar kita juga harus dapat bersanding dan berkompetisi dengan pelajar negara lain sehingga harus memiliki kemampuan literasi, bukan hanya memahami wacana tetapi juga harus dapat menggunakan dan dapat merefleksikannya dalam kehidupan. Sementara itu, kemampuan literasi dasar para pelajar kita berdasarkan pengukuran yang dilakukan lembaga internasional selalu berada di urutan bawah. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah membudayakan literasi dasar pada jenjang pendidikan dasar dan menengah. Berdasarkan pertimbangan beberapa kajian maka dilakukan pengembangan budaya literasi melalui penajaman kompetensi dasar dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 yang direvisi. Kompetensi dasar yang secara khusus dimaksudkan untuk pengembangan budaya literasi terdapat 28 Kompetensi Dasar yang masing-masing 14 kompetensi pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP/MTs dan SMA/MA. Pengembangan kompetensi literasi dalam pembelajaran ini dilengkapi pula oleh Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) yang dikembangkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. One of the materials that can be used to implement character education in Indonesian language lessons in junior high schools is animal story text or fables. To increase student attractiveness and make it easier to access material, the learning material developed must be presented using digital technology. Teaching material contains character education and is presented digitally is a learning scaffolding in developing Zone Proximal Development (ZPD). The research method used is research and development. The research was carried out through the stages of collecting, selecting, and analyzing fable texts from students 'cultural environments that were in line with students' psychological development. Development of teaching materials is done from selected fable texts combined with basic competencies contained in the curriculum and assisted with the use of digital technology. Teaching materials are validated by experts and practitioners before being tested on students. The results showed that fable texts containing local wisdom could be used as character education. Digital presentation of teaching materials is more interesting and effective in increasing students' ability to express and think creatively.

This study aimed to describe the style of the language of opposition politician groups in Indones... more This study aimed to describe the style of the language of opposition politician groups in Indonesia, which could lead to relations of power non-visible (hidden power) with the ideological process that appears in oral or written discourse. This study uses a Fairclough Critical Discourse Analysis model. The corpus of data obtained randomly from a national online social media are presented in the internet. Data taken during 3 months. The survey results revealed, there are 4 groups and 36 kinds of style language used by the opposition politicians in speaking in online social media, namely irony (21 types), comparison (7 types), opposition (four types), and assertion (4 types). Four results also known of the opposition politician stylistic phenomenon in Indonesia, namely, 1) the tendency to use meaningful diction sarcastic, harassing, bullying, cornering, to the contrary, and a priori; 2) The realistic truth defeated by practical truth, 3) loss of empathy, respect, and civility; 4) language is used as a political tool, and not as a means of interaction as defined in the theory of politeness.

The method used in this research is research and development. The results obtained by folklore that developed in the Cirebon and Indramayu districts have moral values and are close to students' lives so that they are suitable for use as teaching material. The folklore analyzed has structure, linguistic elements, and moral values so that it can be used as a basis for the development of folklore teaching materials but by adjusting the use of language. The development of folklore teaching materials is adjusted to the achievement of basic competencies validated by experts and practitioners to get a classification as teaching materials that are suitable for use in vocational High School in the Cirebon and Indramayu regions. Based on the results of the learning trials it is known that these teaching materials can be used effectively in improving students' ability to produce literary works, especially short stories by using basic ideas from folklore. Teaching material developed is more interesting for students 'interest and enthusiasm, because the teaching material is in accordance with the students' cultural background. The students' responses to teaching materials were very enthusiastic when presented teaching materials that came from folklore from the Cirebon area, aroused curiosity, and learning activities took place dynamically and students did not feel fed up.

Data search using instruments in the form of questionnaires, documentation observation, document analysis, and student worksheets. Data analysis was carried out by analyzing data on the need for digital teaching materials and analyzing advertisement texts, slogans, and posters from various public media. The results of developing digital teaching materials for advertisement texts, slogans, and posters were validated by several experts. The results of validation and revision were carried out to students in the implementation of learning activities. The results showed that the digital teaching materials of advertisement texts, slogans, and posters were valid and feasible to use. The presentation of teaching materials for advertisement texts, slogans, and posters in digital form can increase students' learning motivation since it is more interactive and interesting.

This study aims to obtain digital teaching materials of persuasion texts to reduce the occurrence... more This study aims to obtain digital teaching materials of persuasion texts to reduce the occurrence of learning loss, as the impact of distance learning and physical distancing policies to prevent the spread of COVID-19 that implemented in Junior High School and other schools in Indonesia. Learning loss occurs because students do not get teaching materials that can be studied independently. This digital teaching material of Persuasion Text, designed as Autonomous Learning Materials (ALM) is suitable for distance learning. The design of teaching materials is carried out using Research and development (R&D). The stages of teaching material include three main steps; preliminary research phase; design or prototyping phase; and the assessment phase. The results of the development are; (1) obtain a design of digital teaching material of persuasive text that can be downloaded from google drive or youtube channel via quick response code (QR Code) on a smartphone; (2) the application of digital teaching materials for persuasion texts for online learning can help 82% of students achieve learning goals, namely achieving scores above the Minimum Completeness Criteria/Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM); (3) the responses about the application of persuasive text digital teaching materials for online learning are 81% of students stated that these teaching materials can help students achieve learning goals, are very interesting, and could practice writing skills. These results indicate that the digital teaching materials of persuasion texts are effective and feasible to use for teaching and learning activity.

Pelajar kita juga harus dapat bersanding dan berkompetisi dengan pelajar negara lain sehingga harus memiliki kemampuan literasi, bukan hanya memahami wacana tetapi juga harus dapat menggunakan dan dapat merefleksikannya dalam kehidupan. Sementara itu, kemampuan literasi dasar para pelajar kita berdasarkan pengukuran yang dilakukan lembaga internasional selalu berada di urutan bawah. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah membudayakan literasi dasar pada jenjang pendidikan dasar dan menengah. Berdasarkan pertimbangan beberapa kajian maka dilakukan pengembangan budaya literasi melalui penajaman kompetensi dasar dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 yang direvisi. Kompetensi dasar yang secara khusus dimaksudkan untuk pengembangan budaya literasi terdapat 28 Kompetensi Dasar yang masing-masing 14 kompetensi pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP/MTs dan SMA/MA. Pengembangan kompetensi literasi dalam pembelajaran ini dilengkapi pula oleh Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) yang dikembangkan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. One of the materials that can be used to implement character education in Indonesian language lessons in junior high schools is animal story text or fables. To increase student attractiveness and make it easier to access material, the learning material developed must be presented using digital technology. Teaching material contains character education and is presented digitally is a learning scaffolding in developing Zone Proximal Development (ZPD). The research method used is research and development. The research was carried out through the stages of collecting, selecting, and analyzing fable texts from students 'cultural environments that were in line with students' psychological development. Development of teaching materials is done from selected fable texts combined with basic competencies contained in the curriculum and assisted with the use of digital technology. Teaching materials are validated by experts and practitioners before being tested on students. The results showed that fable texts containing local wisdom could be used as character education. Digital presentation of teaching materials is more interesting and effective in increasing students' ability to express and think creatively.

This study aimed to describe the style of the language of opposition politician groups in Indones... more This study aimed to describe the style of the language of opposition politician groups in Indonesia, which could lead to relations of power non-visible (hidden power) with the ideological process that appears in oral or written discourse. This study uses a Fairclough Critical Discourse Analysis model. The corpus of data obtained randomly from a national online social media are presented in the internet. Data taken during 3 months. The survey results revealed, there are 4 groups and 36 kinds of style language used by the opposition politicians in speaking in online social media, namely irony (21 types), comparison (7 types), opposition (four types), and assertion (4 types). Four results also known of the opposition politician stylistic phenomenon in Indonesia, namely, 1) the tendency to use meaningful diction sarcastic, harassing, bullying, cornering, to the contrary, and a priori; 2) The realistic truth defeated by practical truth, 3) loss of empathy, respect, and civility; 4) language is used as a political tool, and not as a means of interaction as defined in the theory of politeness.

The method used in this research is research and development. The results obtained by folklore that developed in the Cirebon and Indramayu districts have moral values and are close to students' lives so that they are suitable for use as teaching material. The folklore analyzed has structure, linguistic elements, and moral values so that it can be used as a basis for the development of folklore teaching materials but by adjusting the use of language. The development of folklore teaching materials is adjusted to the achievement of basic competencies validated by experts and practitioners to get a classification as teaching materials that are suitable for use in vocational High School in the Cirebon and Indramayu regions. Based on the results of the learning trials it is known that these teaching materials can be used effectively in improving students' ability to produce literary works, especially short stories by using basic ideas from folklore. Teaching material developed is more interesting for students 'interest and enthusiasm, because the teaching material is in accordance with the students' cultural background. The students' responses to teaching materials were very enthusiastic when presented teaching materials that came from folklore from the Cirebon area, aroused curiosity, and learning activities took place dynamically and students did not feel fed up.
