In the context of the fourth industrial revolution (4th IR), there is a transformation in existin... more In the context of the fourth industrial revolution (4th IR), there is a transformation in existing and new occupations. It emerges urgent need of advanced skilled manpower. It is because of impact of advanced technology in the day-today life. In general, rural youths are unaware of and unprepared for this challenge. To remain pace with, competencies need to be developed among the first-generation entrepreneurs for better livelihood and also to attain UN's Sustainable Development Goals SDG-2030. Awareness and preparedness about "Technical, Vocational Education and Training" (TVET) and entrepreneurial education (EE) skills among the rural youths needs to be assessed and compared among the various groups of TVET learners. Youths under the formal academic system of education and customized training module were the population of this study. Awareness and preparedness among the different group of TVET learners is different that effects on the advanced skills. This paper gives insight into addressing this research gap by the experimental and applied research. In the context of the 4th IR, tried-out TAILOR-C model gets modified to remain pace with time with a number of required various components of the skills. This research is for the policy makers, career aspirant youths and entrepreneurship educators in the context of basics in competency mapping. The scope of this research paper is limited to the TVET and EE to the competencies with 4th IR. Life skills, applied transformational skills, soft skills, skills of digital entrepreneurship and ICT should be the inherent components of the EE curriculum. In conventional laboratory they find difficulties in performing science practical, eventually they are deprived of practical work. Even if they get into science stream they are almost deprived of practical work. Science practical is heart of science education. This book explains problems faced by visually impaired students in biology practical and suggests how conventional biology lab can be made accessible for the visually impaired by integrating assistive technologies. Many governments in low-income countries experience difficulties in obtaining and supplying appropriate assistive devices and products to people in need; have issues with poor infrastructure and in general lack appropriate knowledge around the types of assistive technologies (ATs) available and how to use these to assist people with disabilities. The present study reveals that conventional biol- ogy laboratories without any assistive technologies for visually impaired are not able to provide wholesome learning envi- ronment to visually impaired students. In conventional laboratories visually impaired students face problems in performing practical of microscopy, anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, dissection, taxonomy and morphology. By making certain modi- fications and integrating assistive technologies, conventional laboratory can be made accessible for visually impaired where both visually impaired and normal students can work together.

Open and distance learning is usually contrasted with 'conventional or face to face education' wh... more Open and distance learning is usually contrasted with 'conventional or face to face education' which may be described as the form of education which takes place in a classroom or an auditorium. So, the concept of open and distance learning suggests an educational approach designed to reach learners in their homes/offices/shops, etc, provide learning resources for them to qualify without attending formal classes in person, or create opportunities for lifelong learning, no matter where or when they want to study. This is the crucial time in front of us that teacher education is now burning issue in the educational policy of country. Today lot of questions stands on teacher education in the context of conventional and distance education. Conventional mode is today not capable to carry such issue in the proper way. Because large numbers of educational institutions/colleges are commenced, so the quality of teacher education in the system of conventional mode is in quizzical manner. Conventional approaches to teacher education have not met all the demands upon the profession and this has led to an interest in open and distance learning alternatives.Teacher education is a vital area where, we are using the ODL system extensively in order to provide pre-service teacher training, upgrading of academic qualifications, in-service continuing professional development in particular subjects, content areas and instructional methods. This can be used in developed and developing countries in the world. We have ample examples that distance learning initiatives in new ideas and technology for preparing new teachers or upgrade skills of the existing teaching force. The use of open and distance learning for teacher education is therefore a crucial strategy when expansion or quality improvement is needed in the public education system.Unless we can get more teachers, and better teachers, we will not reach the target of making quality education available for all by 2015. But there are still world shortages of teachers, still large numbers of under qualified teachers, and still many who need further professional education and training as they work. In this condition we have ethical responsibility to maintain the quality of teacher education and to provide better teachers and upgrade to all teachers in their teaching skills and their behavioral changes.
