We need to get this resistance organized. First order of business is taking stock of all our supplies, and seeing what kind of manpower we have.So far I've heard about us 2 vampire slayers, a couple human friends of ours, some humans with some bombs? and some jedi? and a kid who can do magic? .... we have to have more than that. Please tell me we at least have weapons. He'd just picked it up this morning from the cleaners. Walking out onto the stage the military was nice enough to build for the event he grabbed the mike and started speaking. "Welcome everyone! Glad you all could make it. For this evening we have our local military band doing some jazz numbers to start and at midnight the biggest band ever will start playing. Enjoy the food, and drink. Grab a partner and dance. Whatever you do make sure to sign the waivers as you come in the door so I'm not legally liable for any of this." Picking up a martini that a waiter had brought him, he held it high in a toast. "To having such a good time that none of us remember any of this in the morning." Downing the martini he tossed the mike to the band leader and danced off the stage before looking around for Caroline.

Pepper had smiled politely and said that, once you see your boss hydraulically catapulted across the room in a big metal suit, very few things fit into the category of "surprising" anymore.As long as her employer was here, Pepper had a purpose. She had left her datebook behind in the transfer, but they had given her a yellow legal pad and an HB #2, which she carried under her arm while balancing a tray of orange juice and toast in her hands. Ordinarily, JARVIS would take on the responsibility of waking Mr. Stark in the morning (never before nine o'clock and certainly never before noon after he'd been drinking with the Rotary Club the night before) but now the duty fell to Pepper, who was making her way down the corridor with a staccato clack of heels.She saw a pretty brunette coming toward her and had to smile. Looks like I'm on the right track. She gave the woman one of the two glasses of orange juice on the tray and said, "good morning" in a way that meant she'd be discreet about what she'd guessed had happened.The blinds were closed when she went in. Mr. Stark was lying on his stomach, his face planted in the middle of the pillow, fists bunched up against the headboard. An ambient glow pulsed and lit the mattress beneath his chest. Pepper put the tray on the end table and went to open the blinds."It's nearly nine o'clock, Mr. Stark. You should be awake by now."

Tony Stark's room! *superhero pose*It had taken her ten minutes to make it look like she hadn't been crying forever. Five minutes to find clothes that weren't wrinkled and another three to find her shoes. Finally, when she opened the door and left, she tripped on a small toy outside her room.An Ewok. She picked it up, growled, and threw it on her bed. She would hunt Janson down and hit him. SHE WOULD. But first: Tony Stark and drinking.She found his room pretty quickly and only hesitated for a moment before knocking.

Apparently, this should bother me or weird me out or whatever, but you know what?I'm cool. Totally like ice.I could use a drink, though. But that has nothing to do with me not really existing. Someone want to direct me to the nearest bar? Or let me know where a guy can steal a bottle of vodka from?Also, wow the OS on this computer is outdated. Well ... in comparison to JARVIS, at least. What's this thing running on? Windows 98? XP? So last year.
