The use of electronic learning platforms is increasing in the twenty-first century. The Quizizz platform is an effective tool to attract students’ interest and motivate them to learn, making the learning process enjoyable and reducing boredom. Learning Arabic grammar represents a challenge for Bachelor of Arabic Language and Professional Communications students at UiTM, Shah Alam. This study seeks to investigate the use of e-learning platforms in learning Arabic grammar among students of the Bachelor of Arabic Language and Professional Communications program at Mara University of Technology - Shah Alam.
This study focuses on achieving two main objectives: determining the level of students’ achievement in learning the Tawabi' التوابع topic using the Quiziz platform, and determining
students’ perceptions towards using this platform in learning the Tawabi' topic. A quantitative descriptive approach was followed in this study, as the researchers used questionnaires as a tool to collect data from a sample of 73 students from the second semester of the 242-LG program. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics via SPSS version 29.
The results of the study showed that student’s achievement in the subtopic was better when using the Quiziz application. Students’ perceptions of using the Quiziz platform to learn the Tawabi' topic were positive, indicating their preference for using Quiziz in the learning process. Based on these results, it can be said that the Quiziz platform contributes effectively to improving the learning of the Bachelor of Arabic Language and Professional Communications students in Arabic grammar. The researchers recommend expanding the field of study of the use of e-learning platforms to other topics of Arabic grammar.

The aim of this research is to demonstrate the greatness of the Arabic language, and to clarify t... more The aim of this research is to demonstrate the greatness of the Arabic language, and to clarify the testimony of non-Arabs in their admiration for the Arabic language and its superiority over other languages. The manifestations of creativity in the language and its connotations, which represent a problem for many students and readers to understand them accurately. This research resorted to using the descriptive approach as it describes some manifestations of creativity in the Arabic language, namely the phenomenon of objection, the phenomenon of omission and the phenomenon of re-mention with its wonderful connotations and the phenomenon of strange words. Then the research came out with some important results. First, including the objectionable sentence in speech that it serves to confirm and correct the speech. Second, the deletion comes in some parts of the sentence to denote neglect and disregard, brevity and abbreviation, exaltation, and glorification. Third, mentioning some words within the sentence benefits the security of ambiguity, confirmation of the meaning and confirming and negating. Fourth, the advent of strange words indicating the connection of the building with the meaning. I recommend to all researchers to research the rest of the aspects of the language that indicate its creativity and greatness and to apply it to texts from the Qur'an and the Prophetic Sunnah, and to study the effect of clues in understanding the intended meaning of God Almighty's words.

Social media is an application that uses Web 2.0 technology and gives users the opportunity to pr... more Social media is an application that uses Web 2.0 technology and gives users the opportunity to produce materials in various forms such as text, audio, and video that can be shared with other users. So indirectly, it can be used in learning a foreign language. Therefore this study aims to critically analyze and synthesize the research trends of foreign language learning through social media. Thus the Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) database was used to find articles related to the objectives of the study from 2017 to 2021. The PRISMA model was used in this study to meet the objectives of the study. An article search using social media and foreign language keywords through the database has found a total of 39906 articles. However, only 14 articles met the requirements and were selected for further analysis. Overall, this study has the potential to be further developed by researchers who are interested in the study of aging language learning research trends through social media with a longer study period and may also involve other languages.

The problem of the research lies in the fact that Surah Al-Fatihah is a short surah with many meanings, and it has collected all the purposes of the Quran. It also demonstrates linguistic and semantic coherence; thus the researcher seeks to uncover and analyse these aspects. The research adopts a descriptive and semantic analysis approach where the existing phenomenon is described and analysed and its meanings are extracted. The research findings reveal that Al-Fatihah contains a great linguistic miracle where verbs and sentences are proportional and coherent. Additionally, analysis of the verses shows that they contain the two most important aspects emphasized by Islam, which are knowledge and deeds (beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds). Moreover, the research found that Surah Al-Fatihah has three parts: a section with nominal sentences to describe Allah's attributes, a section with verbal sentences to express the actions of worshipers, and a mixed section that contains both nominal and verbal sentences with the latter starting with the subject followed by its object. The researchers recommend further studies on the linguistic and semantic coherence in other chapters of Al-Quran to explore more miracles of Al-Quran.

This article discusses students' acceptance of learning Arabic speaking skills through the Takallam mobile application. This is a quantitative study that uses a questionnaire as a research instrument to obtain data. A total of 186 students were involved in this study. The analysis method used is descriptive. The data obtained were analyzed using IBM SPSS 29 statistical software to obtain the percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The findings of the study show that the students' acceptance of learning Arabic speaking skills through the Takallam mobile application is at a high level. Thus, this shows that the application developed is beneficial to students in learning Arabic speaking skills, and it is compatible with learning in the era of technology that is constantly developing from time to time.

It provides detailed explanations of what is mentioned in the Quran, clarifies ambiguous matters, specifies general statements, and restricts absolute statements. Anyone who engages in the explanation of the Prophetic Tradition must possess linguistic knowledge, as it plays a significant role for the scholar of Hadith, the interpreter, the jurist, and the scholar of Islamic principles. Understanding the secrets of language and the methods used by Arabs in their speech helps in comprehending the intended meaning of the Prophet's words, peace be upon him. This research aims to develop a conceptual framework and proposed strategies and mechanisms for understanding the Prophetic Tradition based on linguistic knowledge. It also aims to demonstrate the role of the objectives of Arabic grammar in understanding the Prophetic Tradition, as well as to introduce modern grammatical theories and their role in understanding the Prophetic Tradition. The research adopted a descriptive-analytical approach, and its findings indicate that understanding the objectives of Arabic grammar assists in comprehending many problematic aspects found in some narrations. Furthermore, the lack of knowledge of the external context of a hadith leads to misconceptions, and the theory of textual grammar contributes to understanding the meanings of the Prophetic Tradition. The indirect style in language also aids in identifying the purpose and intent of the Prophetic Tradition. The researchers recommend the necessity of conducting serious linguistic studies on linguistic expression and meaning, examining their characteristics and roles in elucidating the legal objectives of the Prophetic text, as they are essential in deducing juristic rulings.

Advancements in technology and communication have had a great impact on language education, neces... more Advancements in technology and communication have had a great impact on language education, necessitating changes in the delivery method of the education system to compete with the demands of the 21st century. This qualitative research aims to design and develop a mobile application for Arabic language communication. The app focuses on improving oral communication skills, including various features such as conversation, vocabulary, grammar, reinforcement activities, and language-based tasks. The ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) instructional design model was adopted for the development of the application, providing a systematic workflow. The findings of the study show the success of the developed mobile communication Arabic language application called 'Takallam'. Among others, this application is expected to benefit students and users in improving their mastery of Arabic language communication skills.

This quasi-experimental study aims to determine the impact of integrating gamification into teach... more This quasi-experimental study aims to determine the impact of integrating gamification into teaching Arabic grammar on academic achievement for second-year students at As-Sofa International Islamic College and evaluate students' impressions of incorporating gamification into learning Arabic grammar. Through a descriptive-analytical approach and quasiexperimental methodology, this study was conducted on a sample consisting of 64 students who were divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The duration of the study was eight weeks. A t-test was conducted to analyse the results of the achievement pre and post-test, and the mean and standard deviation were used to analyse the questionnaire results. The study found an indirect positive effect of gamification in improving students' academic achievement in Arabic grammar, and positive impressions of students about incorporating gamification into learning Arabic grammar. The study showed that gamification could inspire poor learners struggling to become high achievers. Additionally, the present study could contribute to the usefulness of language learners by enhancing their problem-solving skills and restoring their knowledge of grammar practice during the learning process.

memorizing deaf rules, but rather a comprehension and accurate understanding of the
importance of those rules and their application is essential. Studies indicate that there are many
Arabic language students suffer from a weak level of comprehension in the field of parsing in the
Arabic language. Therefore, this study aims to determine the level of syntax comprehension of
LG242 students at the Languages Academy at MARA University of Technology in Shah Alam.
This quantitative study adopted the descriptive and analytical method using the electronic test
tool through the Socrative educational platform for data collection. Microsoft Excel package is
used for statistical data analysis. The sample in this study consisted of 30 students from the sixth
semester of Arabic Language for Professional Communication at Mara University of Science
and Technology. Based on the results of this study, the researchers concluded that the syntax
absorption of LG242 students at the Language Academy of Mara University of Science and
Technology is at a good level. The study recommends the necessity to continue conducting
research and empirical studies on the extent of students' understanding of expression and its
application in dialogue and oral communication through activities of live conversation and
writing essay.

Dunia teknologi dan komunikasi yang semakin berkembang pesat telah memberi kesan secara langsung kepada bidang pendidikan. Oleh itu, perubahan terhadap kaedah penyampaian perlu selari dengan kehendak pendidikan abad ke-21. Namun begitu pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penyampaian yang digunakan pada masa sekarang masih bercirikan konvensional. Rentetan daripada itu, tujuan kajian ini dilakukan adalah untuk membangunkan aplikasi mudah alih pembelajaran asas bahasa Arab bagi peringkat sekolah rendah dengan hanya membataskan kemahiran bertutur. Model reka bentuk instruksi Hanafin dan Peck dengan sedikit pengubahsuaian digunakan dalam proses pembangunan aplikasi mudah alih ini dan ia dijadikan sebagai panduan aliran kerja. Hasil daripada pembangunan prototaip aplikasi mudah alih bahasa Arab tersebut dinilai menerusi kaedah kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah soal selidik. Data-data yang dikumpul melalui 30 orang guru bahasa Arab dianalisis dengan menggunakan perisian SPSS versi 21.0. Bagi proses penganalisaan data kajian, pengkaji menggunakan interpretasi skor min yang bersumberkan Ramlee & Norani (2007). Hasil dapatan kajian mendapati nilai min yang diperoleh daripada kandungan dam keseluruhan prototaip aplikasi mudah alih berada pada interpretasi min yang sangat setuju. Dapatan ini secara kesimpulannya dapat menggambarkan bahawa prototaip aplikasi mudah alih pembelajaran asas bahasa Arab yang dibangunkan boleh dipertingkatkan lagi pembangunannya. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan untuk memberi faedah kepada para guru dan juga pelajar dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kemahiran bertutur bahasa Arab.

Facebook has many facilities for students, for example, to communicate with friends around the world. In addition, it also has the potential to be used in teaching and learning. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to identify the extent of students' perceptions of facebook in learning Arabic speaking skills. The study design used was quantitative study. This study targetted respondents from semester 5 students majoring in Arabic at UiTM Shah Alam. A total of 40 students were selected as the study sample. Questionnaires were used as the research instruments to collect data. The data of this questionnaire were analysed using Statistical Package for the Social Science version 22.0 to obtain descriptive data. The results of the study found that students' perceptions of Facebook in learning speaking skills in Arabic showed positive responses from participants who used the account to improve their language skills. The implication of this study is expected to provide information to educators as an effort to improve both the teaching and learning of Arabic speaking skill.

However, studies have shown that the level of language skills among students is still unsatisfactory. For speaking skill, students are facing difficulties to speak Arabic well, because language errors have always been the case. Due to this reason, it is necessary for a study to be conducted with the purpose of identifying the constraints that are stopping them from speaking Arabic properly as well as the implications of this problem. To identify the constraint factors, a total of 98 students who attended the first level Arabic course at UiTM Shah Alam were chosen as respondents. A survey form was used as a research instrument. The data were analysed based on the basic descriptive to find frequency, percentage and mean in distribution. The findings show that the most important constraints are the lack of vocabulary and the environment, that do not encourage them to converse in Arabic, leading to the inability to speak the language fluently. This study also proposed three ways to overcome this problem, namely using an Arabic language learning strategy, implementing well-designed teaching methods for speaking skills and the need to increase reading materials.

The use of electronic learning platforms is increasing in the twenty-first century. The Quizizz platform is an effective tool to attract students’ interest and motivate them to learn, making the learning process enjoyable and reducing boredom. Learning Arabic grammar represents a challenge for Bachelor of Arabic Language and Professional Communications students at UiTM, Shah Alam. This study seeks to investigate the use of e-learning platforms in learning Arabic grammar among students of the Bachelor of Arabic Language and Professional Communications program at Mara University of Technology - Shah Alam.
This study focuses on achieving two main objectives: determining the level of students’ achievement in learning the Tawabi' التوابع topic using the Quiziz platform, and determining
students’ perceptions towards using this platform in learning the Tawabi' topic. A quantitative descriptive approach was followed in this study, as the researchers used questionnaires as a tool to collect data from a sample of 73 students from the second semester of the 242-LG program. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics via SPSS version 29.
The results of the study showed that student’s achievement in the subtopic was better when using the Quiziz application. Students’ perceptions of using the Quiziz platform to learn the Tawabi' topic were positive, indicating their preference for using Quiziz in the learning process. Based on these results, it can be said that the Quiziz platform contributes effectively to improving the learning of the Bachelor of Arabic Language and Professional Communications students in Arabic grammar. The researchers recommend expanding the field of study of the use of e-learning platforms to other topics of Arabic grammar.

The aim of this research is to demonstrate the greatness of the Arabic language, and to clarify t... more The aim of this research is to demonstrate the greatness of the Arabic language, and to clarify the testimony of non-Arabs in their admiration for the Arabic language and its superiority over other languages. The manifestations of creativity in the language and its connotations, which represent a problem for many students and readers to understand them accurately. This research resorted to using the descriptive approach as it describes some manifestations of creativity in the Arabic language, namely the phenomenon of objection, the phenomenon of omission and the phenomenon of re-mention with its wonderful connotations and the phenomenon of strange words. Then the research came out with some important results. First, including the objectionable sentence in speech that it serves to confirm and correct the speech. Second, the deletion comes in some parts of the sentence to denote neglect and disregard, brevity and abbreviation, exaltation, and glorification. Third, mentioning some words within the sentence benefits the security of ambiguity, confirmation of the meaning and confirming and negating. Fourth, the advent of strange words indicating the connection of the building with the meaning. I recommend to all researchers to research the rest of the aspects of the language that indicate its creativity and greatness and to apply it to texts from the Qur'an and the Prophetic Sunnah, and to study the effect of clues in understanding the intended meaning of God Almighty's words.

Social media is an application that uses Web 2.0 technology and gives users the opportunity to pr... more Social media is an application that uses Web 2.0 technology and gives users the opportunity to produce materials in various forms such as text, audio, and video that can be shared with other users. So indirectly, it can be used in learning a foreign language. Therefore this study aims to critically analyze and synthesize the research trends of foreign language learning through social media. Thus the Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) database was used to find articles related to the objectives of the study from 2017 to 2021. The PRISMA model was used in this study to meet the objectives of the study. An article search using social media and foreign language keywords through the database has found a total of 39906 articles. However, only 14 articles met the requirements and were selected for further analysis. Overall, this study has the potential to be further developed by researchers who are interested in the study of aging language learning research trends through social media with a longer study period and may also involve other languages.

The problem of the research lies in the fact that Surah Al-Fatihah is a short surah with many meanings, and it has collected all the purposes of the Quran. It also demonstrates linguistic and semantic coherence; thus the researcher seeks to uncover and analyse these aspects. The research adopts a descriptive and semantic analysis approach where the existing phenomenon is described and analysed and its meanings are extracted. The research findings reveal that Al-Fatihah contains a great linguistic miracle where verbs and sentences are proportional and coherent. Additionally, analysis of the verses shows that they contain the two most important aspects emphasized by Islam, which are knowledge and deeds (beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds). Moreover, the research found that Surah Al-Fatihah has three parts: a section with nominal sentences to describe Allah's attributes, a section with verbal sentences to express the actions of worshipers, and a mixed section that contains both nominal and verbal sentences with the latter starting with the subject followed by its object. The researchers recommend further studies on the linguistic and semantic coherence in other chapters of Al-Quran to explore more miracles of Al-Quran.

This article discusses students' acceptance of learning Arabic speaking skills through the Takallam mobile application. This is a quantitative study that uses a questionnaire as a research instrument to obtain data. A total of 186 students were involved in this study. The analysis method used is descriptive. The data obtained were analyzed using IBM SPSS 29 statistical software to obtain the percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The findings of the study show that the students' acceptance of learning Arabic speaking skills through the Takallam mobile application is at a high level. Thus, this shows that the application developed is beneficial to students in learning Arabic speaking skills, and it is compatible with learning in the era of technology that is constantly developing from time to time.

Anyone who engages in the explanation of the Prophetic Tradition must possess linguistic knowledge, as it plays a significant role for the scholar of Hadith, the interpreter, the jurist, and the scholar of Islamic principles. Understanding the secrets of language and the methods used by Arabs in their speech helps in comprehending the intended meaning of the Prophet's words, peace be upon him. This research aims to develop a conceptual framework and proposed strategies and mechanisms for understanding the Prophetic Tradition based on linguistic knowledge. It also aims to demonstrate the role of the objectives of Arabic grammar in understanding the Prophetic Tradition, as well as to introduce modern grammatical theories and their role in understanding the Prophetic Tradition. The research adopted a descriptive-analytical approach, and its findings indicate that understanding the objectives of Arabic grammar assists in comprehending many problematic aspects found in some narrations. Furthermore, the lack of knowledge of the external context of a hadith leads to misconceptions, and the theory of textual grammar contributes to understanding the meanings of the Prophetic Tradition. The indirect style in language also aids in identifying the purpose and intent of the Prophetic Tradition. The researchers recommend the necessity of conducting serious linguistic studies on linguistic expression and meaning, examining their characteristics and roles in elucidating the legal objectives of the Prophetic text, as they are essential in deducing juristic rulings.

This qualitative research aims to design and develop a mobile application for Arabic language communication. The app focuses on improving oral communication skills, including various features such as conversation, vocabulary, grammar, reinforcement activities, and language-based tasks. The ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) instructional design model was adopted for the development of the application, providing a systematic workflow. The findings of the study show the success of the developed mobile communication Arabic language application called 'Takallam'. Among others, this application is expected to benefit students and users in improving their mastery of Arabic language communication skills.

This quasi-experimental study aims to determine the impact of integrating gamification into teach... more This quasi-experimental study aims to determine the impact of integrating gamification into teaching Arabic grammar on academic achievement for second-year students at As-Sofa International Islamic College and evaluate students' impressions of incorporating gamification into learning Arabic grammar. Through a descriptive-analytical approach and quasiexperimental methodology, this study was conducted on a sample consisting of 64 students who were divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The duration of the study was eight weeks. A t-test was conducted to analyse the results of the achievement pre and post-test, and the mean and standard deviation were used to analyse the questionnaire results. The study found an indirect positive effect of gamification in improving students' academic achievement in Arabic grammar, and positive impressions of students about incorporating gamification into learning Arabic grammar. The study showed that gamification could inspire poor learners struggling to become high achievers. Additionally, the present study could contribute to the usefulness of language learners by enhancing their problem-solving skills and restoring their knowledge of grammar practice during the learning process.

memorizing deaf rules, but rather a comprehension and accurate understanding of the
importance of those rules and their application is essential. Studies indicate that there are many
Arabic language students suffer from a weak level of comprehension in the field of parsing in the
Arabic language. Therefore, this study aims to determine the level of syntax comprehension of
LG242 students at the Languages Academy at MARA University of Technology in Shah Alam.
This quantitative study adopted the descriptive and analytical method using the electronic test
tool through the Socrative educational platform for data collection. Microsoft Excel package is
used for statistical data analysis. The sample in this study consisted of 30 students from the sixth
semester of Arabic Language for Professional Communication at Mara University of Science
and Technology. Based on the results of this study, the researchers concluded that the syntax
absorption of LG242 students at the Language Academy of Mara University of Science and
Technology is at a good level. The study recommends the necessity to continue conducting
research and empirical studies on the extent of students' understanding of expression and its
application in dialogue and oral communication through activities of live conversation and
writing essay.

Dunia teknologi dan komunikasi yang semakin berkembang pesat telah memberi kesan secara langsung kepada bidang pendidikan. Oleh itu, perubahan terhadap kaedah penyampaian perlu selari dengan kehendak pendidikan abad ke-21. Namun begitu pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penyampaian yang digunakan pada masa sekarang masih bercirikan konvensional. Rentetan daripada itu, tujuan kajian ini dilakukan adalah untuk membangunkan aplikasi mudah alih pembelajaran asas bahasa Arab bagi peringkat sekolah rendah dengan hanya membataskan kemahiran bertutur. Model reka bentuk instruksi Hanafin dan Peck dengan sedikit pengubahsuaian digunakan dalam proses pembangunan aplikasi mudah alih ini dan ia dijadikan sebagai panduan aliran kerja. Hasil daripada pembangunan prototaip aplikasi mudah alih bahasa Arab tersebut dinilai menerusi kaedah kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah soal selidik. Data-data yang dikumpul melalui 30 orang guru bahasa Arab dianalisis dengan menggunakan perisian SPSS versi 21.0. Bagi proses penganalisaan data kajian, pengkaji menggunakan interpretasi skor min yang bersumberkan Ramlee & Norani (2007). Hasil dapatan kajian mendapati nilai min yang diperoleh daripada kandungan dam keseluruhan prototaip aplikasi mudah alih berada pada interpretasi min yang sangat setuju. Dapatan ini secara kesimpulannya dapat menggambarkan bahawa prototaip aplikasi mudah alih pembelajaran asas bahasa Arab yang dibangunkan boleh dipertingkatkan lagi pembangunannya. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan untuk memberi faedah kepada para guru dan juga pelajar dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kemahiran bertutur bahasa Arab.

Facebook has many facilities for students, for example, to communicate with friends around the world. In addition, it also has the potential to be used in teaching and learning. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to identify the extent of students' perceptions of facebook in learning Arabic speaking skills. The study design used was quantitative study. This study targetted respondents from semester 5 students majoring in Arabic at UiTM Shah Alam. A total of 40 students were selected as the study sample. Questionnaires were used as the research instruments to collect data. The data of this questionnaire were analysed using Statistical Package for the Social Science version 22.0 to obtain descriptive data. The results of the study found that students' perceptions of Facebook in learning speaking skills in Arabic showed positive responses from participants who used the account to improve their language skills. The implication of this study is expected to provide information to educators as an effort to improve both the teaching and learning of Arabic speaking skill.

However, studies have shown that the level of language skills among students is still unsatisfactory. For speaking skill, students are facing difficulties to speak Arabic well, because language errors have always been the case. Due to this reason, it is necessary for a study to be conducted with the purpose of identifying the constraints that are stopping them from speaking Arabic properly as well as the implications of this problem. To identify the constraint factors, a total of 98 students who attended the first level Arabic course at UiTM Shah Alam were chosen as respondents. A survey form was used as a research instrument. The data were analysed based on the basic descriptive to find frequency, percentage and mean in distribution. The findings show that the most important constraints are the lack of vocabulary and the environment, that do not encourage them to converse in Arabic, leading to the inability to speak the language fluently. This study also proposed three ways to overcome this problem, namely using an Arabic language learning strategy, implementing well-designed teaching methods for speaking skills and the need to increase reading materials.
