The aim of this paper is to develop a zero turning vehicle. Instead of operating by gear system, we are using pneumatic system for operation of this vehicle. Replacing two wheel drive by four wheel drive makes more convenient for the vehicle to take the turn. Conventional steering involve either the Ackerman or Davis steering system which has major disadvantage that it can't take minimum radius turn. We try to solve the problem of turning radius by new concept of zero turning vehicle with mechanical linkages and pneumatic cylinders. The main purpose of this project is to reduce the turning radius and turning space by rotating at same place without leaving its centre of gravity. In this system, the wheels connected to the front axles are turned opposite to each other, and so are the wheels connected to the rear axle. The wheels on the on left half vehicle rotate in one direction and the ones on the right half of the vehicle. To overcome problem like vehicle maneuvering on narrow roads and during parking this system has been proposed.

In this project work an effort was made to suggest a suitable compact car model to
overcome traffic and parking problems in urban mobility. In this project an existing
hatchback car chassis is modified accordingly. The corners are trimmed and reduced to
single box section i.e., two seats with two doors and a luggage boot. The reduced weight
decreased the manufacturing cost and improved the mileage. All the wheels were coupled
to steer about a common instantaneous center. This design allowed the vehicle to steer
with least effort at a small turning radius about 2.9 m and hence highly maneuverable.
This mechanism enhances the tyre and wheel bearings life.

A Go-kart is a small four wheeled vehicle. Go-kart, by definition, has no suspension and no differential. They are usually raced on scaled down tracks, but are sometimes driven as entertainment or as a hobby by non-professionals. In this paper a go-kart has been designed, simulated, fabricated and tested for probable feasibility for undergraduate students to explore different aspect of vehicle and develop their own go-kart. This paper concentrates on explaining the design and engineering aspects of making a Go Kart for student karting championship 2020.

Knowing the limits of transverse handling and vehicle stability is very important from the aspect of designing a system aimed at improving handling and safety. One of the phenomena that have a great impact on vehicle stability and handling is the sideslip angle. Unfortunately, direct measurement of the sideslip angle requires very complex and expensive equipment that is not suitable for installation on ordinary passenger vehicles; therefore, this quantity must be estimated on the basis of measurements of other parameters. As a result of limited information, this parameter is mainly estimated or linearized relative to lateral force when used for calculations though such calculations can be less accurate. In this paper it is concluded that a clear relationship can not be formed between the lateral force and the sideslip angle and that for precise determination of the sideslip angle several parameters need to be known such as tire construction, tire pressure, rim diameter, wheel camber as well as micro and macro road structure.

To accommodate the transportation needs of world's growing population, automobiles numbers are increasing rapidly around the globe. This resulted in increased number of road accidents and deaths. By adopting Internet of Things (IoT), vehicles can be turned into a Smart Vehicle Monitoring System (SVMS) to monitor driver's heath condition and prevent accidents due to emergencies. SVMS uses IoT devices in vehicles which connects, communicates and flow data using both IoT and cloud computing. This study reviews the existing literature and technologies in implementing Smart Vehicle Monitoring System (SVMS) to reduce emergencies and accidents caused by health related issues. It thoroughly evaluates IoT based infrastructural components needed for deploying SVMS in vehicles. This research also focuses on the key considerations and major challenges in executing health detecting IoT based steering wheel system into a car.
