El cerebro es el encargado de controlar todas las funciones ,motoras y sensitivas del cuerpo, por tanto, el masaje sobre la cabeza es de gran importancia en la recuperación y mantención de estas capacidades. In this work an alternative root of producing 99Tc, either directly or through the generator 99Mo (99mTc) using cyclotrons, is introduced and discussed. The excitation functions for the different proton-induced nuclear reactions on natMo target are measured and compared with some previously measured data. This study aims to release some contradictions between the existing data, and to give a reliable data set for the production of 99mTc and some other isotopes of importance in nuclear medicine beside some impurities. Theoretical code calculations using TALYS code are performed and show a good consistency with the measured cross section values. Furthermore, the integral or thick target yields are estimated based on the measured excitation functions for all the investigated reactions.

The behaviour of two heteropolyacids (HPAs) with quite different stability in aqueous solutions was systematically investigated by UV, IR and NMR spectroscopy and potentiometric titration. It was shown that the Keggin structure of 12-tungstosilicic acid (H4SiW12O40, WSiA) anion was sustained over a wide range of pH from 1.0 to 7.0, while the same anion type of 12-molybdophosphoric acid (H3PMo12O40, MoPA) was present only at pH 1.0. This means that under physiological conditions WSiA is dominantly present in the form of a Kegginanion, whereas the structure of MoPA is completely decomposed to molybdate and phosphate. The obtained results are of special importance for bio-medical and catalytic applications of these compounds and for a better understanding of the mechanism of their action.

The reaction of [MoO 2 Cl 2 (pypzEA)] (1) (pypzEA = ethyl[3-(pyridin-2-yl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]acetate) with water in a Teflon-lined stainless steel autoclave (100°C) or in an open reflux system leads to the isolation of the molybdenum oxide/pyrazolylpyridine composite material [Mo 2 O 6 (HpypzA)] (2; HpypzA = [3-(pyridinium-2-yl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]acetate). The solid state structure of 2 was solved through single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction analyses in conjunction with information derived from FT-IR and 13 C CP MAS NMR spectroscopies and elemental analyses. In the asymmetric unit of 2, two crystallographically distinct Mo 6+ centers are bridged by a syn,syncarboxylate group of HpypzA. The periodic repetition of these units along the a axis of the unit cell leads to the formation of a one-dimensional composite polymer, ∞ 1 [Mo 2 O 6 (HpypzA)]. The outstretched pyrazolylpyridine groups of adjacent polymers interdigitate to form a zipper-like motif, generating strong onset π−π contacts between adjacent rings of coordinated HpypzA molecules. The composite oxide 2 is a stable heterogeneous catalyst for liquid-phase olefin epoxidation.

Abstract: Monitoring of water services informs policy and planning for national governments and the international community. Currently, the international monitoring system measures the type of drinking water source that households use. There have been calls for improved monitoring systems over several decades, some advocating use of multiple indicators. We review the literature on water service indicators and frameworks with a view to informing debate on their relevance to national and international monitoring. We describe the evidence concerning the relevance of each identified indicator to public health, economic development and human rights. We analyze the benefits and challenges of using these indicators separately and combined in an index as tools for planning, monitoring, and evaluating water services. The Working Alliance Inventory of Supervisory Relationships (WAI-SR) was designed to evaluate the three factors--an agreement on goals, an assignment of tasks, and the development of a bond--of a working alliance between supervisor and trainee as proposed by Bordin (1983). The items for the WAI-SR were drawn from the Working Alliance Inventory and adjusted to reflect the context of the supervisory relationship. Results from practicum students enrolled in school counseling, counseling psychology, and clinical psychology programs indicated that the WAI-SR had adequate reliability. In the future, the WAI-SR may be used to gain a broader understanding of the importance of the supervisory relationship in the development of the counseling student, as well as to define the stages of a single supervisory relationship. This monograph outlines the history of recruiting personnel into the Citizens' Militia ranks-a communist formation of public order and security-in the poviat of Radzyń Podlaski. The research aims at analysing attitudes of the Poviat Headquarters militia force and its local stations in the area towards the two main elements responsible for postwar transformations in Poland, namely the communist system and Soviet Union. The primary source of this dissertation are descriptions of militia personnel drawn up by the poviat secretary of the Polish Workers' Party in Radzyń Podlaski at the beginning of 1946.
Artykuł jest przyczynkiem do historii formowania się kadry Milicji Obywatelskiej – komunistycznej formacji porządku i bezpieczeństwa publicznego – w powiecie Radzyń Podlaski. Celem badawczym jest analiza nastawienia funkcjonariuszy Komendy Powiatowej i posterunków gminnych MO w powiecie radzyńskim do dwóch głównych elementów odpowiedzialnych za powojenne przemiany w Polsce: ustroju komunistycznego i Związku Sowieckiego. Podstawą źródłową rozważań są charakterystyki kadry milicyjnej sporządzone przez sekretarza powiatowego Polskiej Partii Robotniczej w Radzyniu Podlaskim na początku 1946 roku.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Outdoor recreation is an important and meaningful experience that carries numerous benefits for people with and without disabilities. Traditionally, relatively few recreation services and facilities were accessible to people with disabilities. Recent legislation such as the Americans with Disabilities Act has increased the accessibility of many outdoor recreation resources, yet little documentation of the outdoor recreation participation patterns of people with disabilities exists. If outdoor recreation services are going to be inclusive of all people, then a greater understanding of the participation patterns and barriers faced by people with mobility disabilities is needed. The National Survey of Recreation and the Environment (NSRE) is an on-going study of the outdoor recreation participation of people living in the United States. The aim of this work was to provide a comprehensive insight concerning coated films which might be used for first mirrors in ITER. The influence of the mirror crystallite size has been addressed as well as the coating techniques to provide nanocrystalline films. Tests of coated mirrors both in laboratories and in tokamaks are reviewed. For the tokamak tests a wide angle camera system has been installed in JET-ILW which is composed of a mirror box with 3 stainless steel mirrors coated with rhodium viewing the torus through a conically shaped aperture. The system delivered the required image quality for plasma monitoring and wall protection. No or insignificant degradation of the optical transmittance has been observed during the experimental campaign in 2014 with about 3000 plasma pulses in different magnetic field configurations.

Molybdenum and nitrogen co-doped TiO2 nanotube arrays (TNAs) were prepared by anodizing in association with hydrothermal treatment. As-prepared Mo and N co-doped TNAs were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and ultraviolet-visible light diffuse reflection spectroscopy. Besides, the photocatalytic activity of Mo and N co-doped TNAs for the degradation of methylene blue (denoted as MB) under visible light irradiation was evaluated. It was found that N in co-doped TNAs coexists in the forms of N–Ti–O and N–O–Ti, while Mo exists as Mo6+ by substituting Ti in the lattice of TiO2. In the meantime, Mo and N co-doping extends the absorption of TNAs into the whole visible light region and results in remarkably enhanced photocatalytic activity for the degradation of MB under visible light irradiation. This could be attributed to the synergetic effect between Mo-doping and N-doping. Namely, Mo and N passivated co-doping produces new states in TNAs, thereby narrowing the bandgap and decreasing the recombination rate of electrons and holes. As a result, the visible light absorption and photocatalytic activity of TNAs is greatly increased. Furthermore, Mo ions with multiple valences in all co-doped samples could act as trapping sites to effectively decrease the recombination rate of electrons and holes, which also contribute to improved photocatalytic activity of Mo and N co-doped TNAs.

Zr/N co-doped TiO2 nanostructures were successfully synthesized using nanotubular titanic acid (NTA) as precursors by a facile wet chemical route and subsequent calcination. These Zr/N-doped TiO2 nanostructures made by NTA precursors show significantly enhanced visible light absorption and much higher photocatalytic performance than the Zr/N-doped P25 TiO2 nanoparticles. Impacts of Zr/N co-doping on the morphologies, optical properties, and photocatalytic activities of the NTA precursor-based TiO2 were thoroughly investigated. The origin of the enhanced visible light photocatalytic activity is discussed in detail.
