This work, deliberately prepared for the program IDRISI, studies the possibilities of apllication of Geographical Information Systems to the actions over the territory from a cartographical point of view. The study area Cehegin is determinated by its litology, relief, biotic and pedology, and it appears as a space definied by differents units and subunits of landscape.

Although property markets represent a large proportion of total wealth in developed countries, the real-estate derivatives markets are still lagging behind in volume of trading and liquidity. Over the last few years there has been increased activity in developing derivative instruments that can be utilised by asset managers. In this paper, we discuss the problems encountered when using property derivatives for managing European real-estate risk. We also consider a special class of structured interest rate swaps that have embedded real-estate risk and propose a more efficient way to tailor these swaps.

Despite powerful advances in yield curve modeling in the last twenty years, comparatively little attention has been paid to the key practical problem of forecasting the yield curve. In this paper we do so. We use neither the no-arbitrage approach, which focuses on accurately fitting the cross section of interest rates at any given time but neglects time-series dynamics, nor

International capital markets, in general, seem to be volatile markets, influenced bymany factors, a phenomenon that affects both developed markets, as well as least developed, withemerging market economies suffering most because of this. It is clear, however, that volatility willremain for as long as it is delayed the adoption of specific measures at national and internationalfinancial architecture level, measures that may be necessary to reduce these risks, to limit theirimpact, and that the question financial market can relapse in a manner as efficiently as possible.

We provide a descriptive examination of the trading activities of one of the most important intermediaries in global financial markets—the OTC derivatives dealer. These dealers play a central role in the provision of derivative products and in the intermediation of market risks faced by financial and non-financial firms alike. Utilizing a unique database, we analyze the derivatives holdings of 264 dealers spanning 34 countries over the period 1995-2001. We document the geographic composition of dealers on both country and regional levels as well as analyze trends in dealer holdings on an aggregate and individual product level. We further analyze the extent of global merger activity among dealers and resulting consolidation effects. Finally, we investigate at the individual dealer level the extent and evolution of their array of product offerings.

Physical layer protection, which protects data confidentiality using information-theoretic methods, has recently attracted a lot of research attention. Using the inherent randomness of the transmission channel to ensure protection in the physical layer is the core concept behind physical layer security. In 5G wireless communication, new challenges have arisen in terms of physical layer security. This paper introduces the most recent survey on various 5G technologies, including millimeter-Wave, massive multi-input multiple outputs, microcells, beamforming, full-duplex technology, etc. The mentioned technologies have been used to solve this technology, such as attenuation, millimeter-Wave penetration, antenna array architecture, security, coverage, scalability, etc. Besides, the author has used descriptions of the techniques/algorithms, goals, problems, and meaningful outcomes, and the results obtained related to this approach were demonstrated.

There are many ways of construing the psychology of loss. This paper describes one such model, which enlightens some, but not all, aspects of bereavement and needs to be used alongside other models. Loss is one aspect of psychosocial transition, the psychological change that takes place whenever people are faced with the need to undertake a major revision of their assumptions about the world. The paper focuses on the ways in which people change or fail to change their internal model of the world in the face of emergent events. Examples are taken from bereavement, loss of a limb, and the succession of losses that mark the course of terminal illness. Implications for identifying people at risk and mitigating that risk are outlined.

This chapter outlines the importance of orality as a form of aesthetic, social and political engagement in the production of culture on the African continent. It gives an insight into some of the most important genres of oral poetry on the African continent, such as praise poetry and in the later parts of the chapter it moves into discussing how orality can now be seen as an active part of popular culture in many African countries.
