Aloe barbadensis (aloe-vera) also famous as a first aid plant is a valuable natural medicine. Its leaves have parallel venation that contains a soothing thick gel inside it and is useful for treatment and curing of wounds and diseases. In this paper, investigations were carried out to study the effect of dc and ac resistances of the aloe barbadensis leaves. The resistance of the leaf measured shows a proportional change with the change in the length of the leaf. The resistance of the leaf tissue increases with the increased distance between the electrodes due to circumvent current path. Both, fresh and the dry leaf of a aloe barbadensis plant was taken for the investigations. For fresh leaf, the dc resistance increases steeply along the length of a leaf while ac resistance comparatively shows a very slow increase in resistance, where as the results verified some fascinating changes in resistance as the leaf dried up.

Complex software systems typically involve features like time, concurrency and probability, where probabilistic computations play an increasing role. It is challenging to formalize languages comprising all these features. We have proposed a language, which integrates probability with time and shared-variable concurrency. We also explored its operational semantics, where a set of algebraic laws has been investigated via bisimulation. In this paper, we consider the inverse work, the derivation of operational semantics from algebraic semantics for our probabilistic language. This approach can be understood as the soundness investigation of operational semantics from the viewpoint of algebraic semantics. Firstly we present the algebraic laws for our probabilistic language. Every program can be expressed as either a guarded choice, or the summation of a set of processes which are deterministic initially. This can model the execution of a program. Secondly we investigate the derivation of an operational semantics from its algebraic semantics. A set of transition rules are derived from the given derivation strategy. Thirdly we explore the equivalence of the derived transition system and the derivation strategy. This indicates the completeness of our operational semantics from the viewpoint of algebraic semantics. Meanwhile, we also investigate the observation-oriented semantic model and its derivation from algebraic semantics.

Underwater detector network is one amongst the foremost difficult and fascinating analysis arenas that open the door of pleasing plenty of researchers during this field of study. In several under water based sensor applications, nodes are square measured and through this the energy is affected. Thus, the mobility of each sensor nodes are measured through the water atmosphere from the water flow for sensor based protocol formations. Researchers have developed many routing protocols. However, those lost their charm with the time. This can be the demand of the age to supply associate degree upon energy-efficient and ascendable strong routing protocol for under water actuator networks. During this work, the authors tend to propose a customary routing protocol named level primarily based routing protocol (LBRP), reaching to offer strong, ascendable and energy economical routing. LBRP conjointly guarantees the most effective use of total energy consumption and ensures packet transmission which redirects as an additional reliability in compare to different routing protocols. In this work, the authors have used the level of forwarding node, residual energy and distance from the forwarding node to the causing node as a proof in multicasting technique comparisons. Throughout this work, the authors have got a recognition result concerning about 86.35% on the average in node multicasting performances. Simulation has been experienced each in a wheezy and quiet atmosphere which represents the endorsement of higher performance for the planned protocol.

ProCoS-WG Working Group(no. 8694) on “Provably Correct Systems” which ran from 1993 to 1997 is presented. This was afollow-on to the ESPRIT BRA ProCoS I project (no. 3104, 1989–1991) and ProCoS II project (no.7071, 1992–1995), overlapping with the latter. A selected bibliography of publications, especially those involving the original project sites and collaboration between member sites, is included.

Complex sfotware systems typically involve features like time, concurrency and probability, and probabilistic computations are playing an increasing role. However it is currently challenging to formalize languages incorporating all those features. Recently the language PTSC has been proposed to integrate probability and time with shared-variable concurrency , where the operational semantics has been explored and a set of algebraic laws has been investigated via bisimulation. This paper investigates the link between the operational and algebraic semantics of PTSC, highlighting both its theoretical and practical aspects.
Abstract
We document the influence on programming language semantics of the Platonism/formalism divide in the philosophy of mathematics.
