Celebrate the holidays with all three Disney Santa Clause adventures in one spectacular collection! Christmas gets a little nuttier when Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) unknowingly inherits the role of legendary St. Nick. His ordinary life snowballs into a hysterical series of crazy events as he fills out the Santa suit, meets Mrs. Claus, and faces his ultimate test against the mischievous Jack Frost!

Splat! Santa has face-planted in the snow! Tim Allen's take on the world's favorite gift-giver and naughty-nice checker is laying face-down in a pile of snow, just deep enough that his body has sunk down even with the top layer. He's in full Santa garb -- red top and bottom with fluffy white accents at the wrists, waist, and ankles; the hat with white trim; and the black belt, gloves, and boots -- and perhaps best is the carefully applied debossing work surrounding him, separating Santa from the snow into which he has fallen. The rear panel is of a predominately red color, shaded more darkly towards the bottom left and top right edges and lighter through the center and towards the upper left and lower right corners. Center is a vertical list of the three film titles. "Tim Allen" and "Disney" appear above. Festive Christmas symbols appear throughout the rear panel. A copyright notice appears bottom left and a number string on the bottom right. The spine carries over the red color. "Disney The Santa Clause 3-Movie Collection" text runs down it. A Disney Blu-ray logo appears at the top and at the bottom, above a six-digit number (different from the number on the rear), is a small thumbnail image of Tim Allen as Santa.

Inside, the digital copy code floats; there are no tabs on the left. The three discs appear on three hubs. The first film in the series appears on its own on the left-hand side while the second and third films may be found on the right in staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that depicts a wide vista of the North Pole. It's hand-drawn and there's not a lot of contrast with the snow-covered ground below, the gray sky above, and gray buildings with warm yellow light in the windows in the middle. Santa's sleigh flies across the top from left to right. Decorative accents appear in all four corners.

The Santa Clause: 3-Movie Collection Blu-ray, Overall Score and Recommendation

This is a nice SteelBook that's well priced, as it should be for three titles that have been on Blu-ray for some time and that are mere recycles of previous issues. It's a shame that Disney didn't take the opportunity to re-release the films on UHD, but the Blu-rays generally look and sound fine and there's a fair assortment of extras, too. As for the SteelBook, the debossing work on the front is nice, the rear panel is a little uninspired, and the inner print is handsome even if there's not a lot of contrast. Highly recommended.
