Synopsis
Sabino Gurupe (Alfredo Landa) works as an accountant and leads a quiet life. His greatest amusement is to go fishing on Sundays with his co-worker Porriño (Summers). One day he meets Elisa (Mirta Miller), a beautiful haute couture model who ends up marrying Sabino and leaving her job because of his jealousy. Then begins a whirlwind of modernity and unbridled consumption encouraged by his wife and his mother-in-law Ramona (Mari Carmen Prendes), which causes Sabino to have to moonlight to cope with so much expense. Sabino's emotional and economic situation becomes increasingly distressing and unbearable. (FILMAFFINITY)
