Peer off the Pier in Durban Central, KwaZulu Natal (original) (raw)

Numerous man-made piers separate the Durban North and South beaches of the Golden Mile. Fortuned fishing spots, the angling success of ever patient fishermen is somehow outdone by the imaginary oversized catch of less patient children.

Take a relaxing stroll above the waters of the Indian Ocean while breathing in seasoned air, more salted with each ocean headed footstep. Watch the fishing, cast a line or cast your eyes back to shore for a yacht's view of the coastline of Marine Parade activity. Fishing is a protected activity, with permits available from the Post Office.
