Trossachs Walks and Hillwalking Routes in Scotland (original) (raw)
Walking & hillwalking in the Trossachs National Park in Scotland is the best way of seeing this beautiful area on your walking holiday. The Trossachs is a great place to start Hillwalking in the southern highlands. Mountains, lochs, forests, old railway lines, rocky mountain passes, drove roads, there is something for everybody on hill walking holidays in Scotland. The beautiful scenery created by the Highland Boundary Fault makes hill walking around Loch Lomond and the Trossachs so unforgettable. Views over dense forests, highland lochs, hills and rivers make hill walking in this area an experience never to be forgotten. In Scotland mountains higher than 3000ft are "Munros" whilst those between 2500ft and 3000ft are called Corbetts. A Graham is over 2,000ft but less than 2500 ft. Walk in good company with Callander Ramblers.
