After prof. Andrzej Manecki (born 1933 in Cracow, Poland), which work is connected with the AGH University of Science and Technology, a member (Polish representative) of the Cosmomineralogy Commision of the IMA (1974–1988), also the Polish representative in the IMA Comission on New Minerals and Mineral Names in 1988.
The M(3)Mn analogue of wicksite. The element combination (in terms of element dominance) is only shared with 'Mg-Fillowite'.
