El Departamento de Seguridad Estatal de Corea del Norte o Ministerio de Seguridad Estatal (en hanja, 國家安全保衛部; en romanización revisada del coreano, Gukga anjeon bowibu) es la agencia de policía secreta de Corea del Norte. Esta institución es una agencia independiente del Gobierno norcoreano, que responde directamente ante el Líder Supremo. Su fundación se sitúa en el año de 1973. Además de ocuparse de labores de inteligencia y de seguridad interna, la agencia está involucrada en la gestión de los campos de concentración del país y otras actividades clasificadas. A raíz de estas actividades, el Ministerio de Seguridad Estatal ha sido acusado de brutalidad policial y violaciones de los derechos humanos por la comunidad internacional. Aparte de las funciones anteriormente mencionadas, la organización también se encarga de proporcionar protección a altos cargos y vips de Corea del Norte, labor que comparte con el Mando de la Guardia Suprema. The Ministry of State Security of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (Korean: 조선민주주의인민공화국 국가보위성) is the secret police agency of North Korea. It is an autonomous agency of the North Korean government reporting directly to the Supreme Leader. In addition to its internal security duties, it is involved in the operation of North Korea's concentration camps and various other hidden activities. The agency is reputed to be one of the most brutal secret police forces in the world, and has been involved in numerous human rights abuses. It is one of two agencies which provides security or protection to North Korean officials and VIPs alongside the Supreme Guard Command. (en)

Департамент государственной безопасности КНДР (сокр. ДГБ КНДР, кор. 국가안전보위부?, 國家安全保衛部?) — орган государственного управления Корейской Народно-Демократической Республики (КНДР) в сфере обеспечения государственной безопасности, действующий с 1973 года. Основными функциями ДГБ КНДР являются внешняя разведка, контрразведка, оперативно-розыскная деятельность, охрана государственной границы КНДР, охрана руководителей ТПК и Правительства КНДР (наряду с Высшим гвардейским командованием), организация и обеспечение правительственной связи, борьба с инакомыслием, преступностью, антисеверокорейской и античучхейской деятельностью, а также содержание и контроль северокорейских концлагерей.
