Escadron de chasseur d'attaque 103 Le Strike Fighter Squadron 103 (VFA-103), également connu sous le nom de "Jolly Rogers", est une unité de l’aéronavale américaine créée le 1er janvier 1943 alors identifiable par VF-17. En 1944, elle est dissoute pour ensuite rejoindre les rangs de la VF-84 jusqu’en 1995 où elle est encore dissoute pour cette fois s’appeler VFA-103. Elle a pris part à toutes les opérations extérieures impliquant l’US Navy depuis la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Actuellement, l'escadron est basé au Naval Air Station Oceana (NAS Oceana), en Virginie. Il est affecté au Carrier Air Wing Seven. (fr)
