The Rescue Vessel Zamalek was on her 25th voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde with the westbound Convoy ON 242 on June 26-1944, to Halifax July 9 - returning with HX 300 from Halifax on July 19, to Clyde Aug. 2. ("Convoy Rescue Ships 1940-1945", Arnold Hague).
