So, in order to meet the demand of population, industries are increasing their production capacities and simultaneously some industries are polluting the environment by releasing waste in environment with out treating them and eventually affecting the ecosystem as these untreated waste pollutes not only water but also pollutes groundwater, land and air also and if it enter the plants through than it enter the food chain and ultimately affecting all the members of ecosystem. The soil samples were collected from different location and with the aim to improve manually contaminated soils samples by saline water, cow dung was used for treating those polluted samples. These soil samples were analyzed at laboratory to observe the role of Indian Cow dung in improving polluted soil. In soils samples collected from different location salty water was added and effects on electrical conductivity of that polluted s...

Heterostructures for In0.30Ga0.70As MOSHEMTs were grown using MOCVD on 200 mm Si substrates with record low threading dislocation density of < 2 × 107 cm−2. Devices with a Si-CMOS compatible front-end process were fabricated and the impact of the heterostructure design and doping on device performance is studied. Low subthreshold swing with minimum (Smin) down to 70 mV/decade was achieved by employing an InGaP top barrier layer and a cap doping of ∼2 × 1019 cm−3 was obtained with a Si-Te co-doping technique. An effective mobility (μ<inf>eff</inf>) of ∼4900 cm2/Vs at sheet electron density (N) of 3 × 1012 cm−2 was achieved which is record among InxGa<inf>1</inf>-xAs (x < 0.53) MOSFETs on Si substrates. In addition, current-gain cut-off frequency f<inf>T</inf>) of ∼60 GHz was extracted for 150 nm channel length MOSHEMTs.

Trimalleolar fractures are one of the most complex fracture around ankle. As with all intra articular fractures, Trimalleolar fractures necessitate reduction and stable internal fixation. The purpose of this study is to assess the functional outcome and results of surgical treatment of Trimalleolar fractures by specific modalities. to attain a proper anatomical alignment and stability of ankle joint and further applying a syndesmotic screw if needed. Material And Methods: A Prospective review was conducted for 20 patients with trimalleolar fracture. Open reduction and internal fixation was done with specific modalities. Patients were evaluated with functional scoring by Biard and Jackson. The functional outcome of ORIF and advantages of the procedures were recorded. Results: In the present study of 20 patients with ankle fractures treated by open reduction and internal fixation. Excellent results were achieved in 13 (65%) patients, good in 5 (25%), fair in 1 (5%) and poor in 1 (5%) patient. Excellent results were observed in all isolated lateral malleolar and bimalleoluar fractures. Two (14%) patient of with trimalleolar fracture had poor to fair results. The patient with poor result had mild pain with activities of daily living, diminution in the abilities to run and to do work, reduced motion of ankle and narrowing of joint space. Conclusion: This fracture pattern was classified under Lauge-Hansens on basis of different injury mechanisms, and were treated according to it. After anatomic reduction and stable fixation through the specific operative approach ans methods, the short-term outcome was good and complications were reduced to minimum.

Homogeneous charge compression ignition is a new combustion concept that gives benefits such as diesel like efficiency and resolves the problem of high level of NOx and PM simultaneously. It gives very high rate of heat release which cannot be easily controlled. The present work deals with development of HCCI engine and experimental investigations on petrol fuelled with DEE as ignition enhancer under two different compression ratios. Homogeneous mixture preparation is the most critical part of the HCCI combustion concept. To achieve homogeneous mixture of fuel and air, diethyl ether was used due to its low evaporating temperature around 35 o C. The mixture was inducted through a nozzle into the intake manifold specially fabricated for the engine under consideration. Constant speed experiments were performed to observe behaviour of HCCI combustion. The engine’s load carryin...

Scaffolding is a temporary or movable structure made of wooden planks and metal poles, used by workmen while building, repairing, or cleaning the building, bridges and all other man-made structures. It is also called ‘staging’ or ‘scaffold’. Scaffolds are widely used on construction site to get access to heights and areas that would be otherwise difficult to get to or to reach. Scaffolding, also called scaffold or staging, is a temporary structure used to support a work crew and materials to aid in the construction, maintenance and repair of buildings, bridges and all other man-made structures. Scaffolding is also used in adapted forms for formwork and shoring, grandstand seating, concert stages, access/viewing towers, exhibition stands, ski ramps, half-pipes, and art projects. Scaffold has to fulfill a diverse set of requirements: - creation of safe and productive working areas - providing ac...

Owing to the excellent gate control using extremely scaled GeSn fin and the good GeSn fin quality maintained using a device fabrication process with low thermal budget, an SS of 63 mV/decade was achieved at channel length (L<inf>CH</inf>) of 50 nm, which is a record low for Ge-based p-FETs. Furthermore, record high G<inf>m,int</inf> of 900 μS/µm (V<inf>DS</inf> of -0.5 V) and G<inf>m,int</inf>/S<inf>sat</inf> of 10.5 for GeSn p-FETs were achieved. A high high-field hole mobility µ<inf>eff</inf> of 275 cm2/V•s (at inversion carrier density N<inf>inv</inf> of 8×1012 cm<...

Research paper thumbnail of In0.30Ga0.70As QW MOSFETs with peak mobility exceeding 3000 cm2/V·s fabricated on Si substrates

The layer structures for device fabrication were grown using MOCVD on a 200 mm Si substrate with threading dislocation density lower than 2×107 cm-2. Si-CMOS compatible process modules were used. The QW MOSFET achieved a drive current exceeding 200 μA/μm at VGS-VTH = 1.75 V and VDS = 1.2 V at channel length of 0.9 μm. Furthermore, peak device mobility of 3011 cm2/V·s was obtained.
