In the rapidly changing environment and the high technology atmosphere of the 21st century,
organizations are becoming more dynamic and innovative than ever before. Organizations in
developed and developing world are opting from change in management. The application of
information systems in the businesses and organizations have opened up new possibilities for
running and managing organization and improved management decision making. In this paper
we preview how introduction of MIS has given growth to organization diversity interm of
management and decision making.

This paper suggests a format for conducting case studies on the issues of centralization and decentralization in the context of MIS. The problems are stated, evidence presented and questions are posed for which operational measures of the variables have been presented. It is hoped that many organizations will be motivated to perform such case analyses in order to generate a body of data on these issues.

— Management Information System (MIS), fully connected computer networks and travelling salesman problem (TSP) are three important distinct concepts in mathematics and computer science. The concept of MIS is generally used for financial information. Keeping this view, it is tried to correlate these concept to do better sequential performance among nodes of fully connected computer network. There exist different topological structure of computer network but only fully connected network topology is a complete graph. Information may pass from initial node to final node in fully connected nodes and if extra properties added in it that final node will acknowledged to initial node then there exist scope to use mathematical travelling salesman concept in it.

Data are the lifeblood of today’s organizations, and the effective and efficient management of data is considered an integral part of organizational strategy .Successful organizations should collect high quality data which will lead to high quality of information. For a successful and effective managerial decision making, it is necessary to provide accurate, timely and relevant information to decision makers. Management Information System is type of information systems that take internal data from the system and summarized it to meaningful and useful forms as management reports to use in managerial decision making. Management information system improves information quality and subsequently affects on managerial decision-making. This research provides a better and clearer understanding of technology adoption and information system success in managerial decision making by reviewing current literature. The expected outcome of this study is propose integrated model for MIS and manageria...

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can be utilized for the education sector. Education includes online, distance and part time education. There are unlimited applications of ICT in the real world. This paper is emphasized on the education field. Traditional Non-formal education system process includes activities like admission, Individual Contact Programmes, Exam for any course in a University or Institution. In this process ICT can play a great role in all the activities by providing a lot of benefits to students, teachers, parents and Universities itself. ICT can be used for providing education to the people who are not able to come to school due to various constraints. ICT can play great role in formal and non formal forms of education. The paper examines certain important issues related with the effective implementation of ICTs in all levels of education and provides suggestions to address certain challenges that would help in the implementation of ICTs in education and simultaneously enhancing Quality of education.

Information is a basic resource for the decision making. For this, the organizations use information systems which give this basic resource. An information system is a means through which data flow inside a company, from a worker or department to other workers or departments. This may occur everywhere, from the organizations`s internal communication to computerized systems that generate periodical reports for varied users.
In the present work, we center on the information systems from a marketing perspective. The methodology of this paper is based on a qualitative research approach. This article reviews relevant marketing information system models presented historically in the academic literature. The information systems most commonly examined are the Marketing Information System (MIS) and the Marketing Decision Support System (MDSS). We have observed that there is some confusion in the literature regarding these information systems. Hence, we have aimed to give an integrative viewpoint and we have proposed a hybrid and global system

Occupational stress is considered to be a main health
problem for both individuals and organizations. This study has
investigated the measurement of occupational stress among
Management Information Systems (MIS) Users in different
banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Furthermore, to identify their
high job stressor factors and increase understanding of the impact
of individuals differences in occupational stress. A descriptive,
cross sectional survey was performed in five banks.

Management information system one of the most important tools in any organization, which aims to provide reliable, complete, accessible, and understandable information in a timely manner to the users of the system. Management information systems assisted in automating tasks. Automation can save time, money, resources, reduce employee’s staff, and enhance organizational workflow. In addition assist in increased organization productivity, effectiveness, increase customer satisfaction, and efficiency of the work. In the telecommunication companies, MIS in general enables to collect, processing and storage of the information; with overall purpose to make that information available on demand in the required format. Telecom Companies can’t work without management information systems as the number of participants in these companies more than million subscribers, so it’s hard to save their data using the manual method (using files). Synthesizing from the literature and interviews with some ...

A central task in multimedia systems is image management (storage and retrieval). As information is disseminated across vast networks, such as the Internet, methods of locating authored media are desirable. Digital watermarks provide a means to embed copyright and other information for identication and tracking. However, many watermarking techniques are vulnerable to distortion. We provide a means to identify images

This study investigates the impact that Information and Enterprise Systems have on economic performance in a sample of Greek SMEs. Furthermore, it analyses whether the adoption of unstructured decision support systems (DSS), structured decision systems (MIS) and enterprise application systems (ERP) are linked to increase the firm's turnover in four economic sectors. The results of the study indicate that the systems which support the unstructured decision making (like DSS) and systems which integrate a related set of functions and business processes (like ERP) are positively associated with firm's turnover. On the other hand, statistical analysis suggested that there was a negative relationship between the systems which support the structured decision making (like MIS) and firm's economic performance. The empirical analysis is based on a joint methodology of fully structured questionnaires and personal interviews in 54 Greek SMEs at four different industrial Sectors (Oth...

Decision Support System (DSS) is equivalent synonym as management information systems (MIS). Most of imported data are being used in solutions like data mining (DM). Decision supporting systems include also decisions made upon individual data from external sources, management feeling, and various other data sources not included in business intelligence. Successfully supporting managerial decision-making is critically dependent upon the availability of integrated, high quality information organized and presented in a timely and easily understood manner. Data mining have emerged to meet this need. They serve as an integrated repository for internal and external data-intelligence critical to understanding and evaluating the business within its environmental context. With the addition of models, analytic tools, and user interfaces, they have the potential to provide actionable information that supports effective problem and opportunity identification, critical decision-making, and strategy formulation, implementation, and evaluation. The proposed system will support top level management to make a good decision in any time under any uncertain environment.

Grotta Romanelli, located on the Adriatic coast of southern Apulia (Italy), is considered a key site for the Mediterranean Pleistocene for its archaeological and palaeontological contents. The site, discovered in 1874, was re-evaluated only in 1900, when P. E. Stasi realised that it contained the first evidence of the Palaeolithic in Italy. Starting in 1914, G.A. Blanc led a pioneering excavation campaign, for the first-time using scientific methods applied to systematic paleontological and stratigraphical studies. Blanc proposed a stratigraphic framework for the cave. Different dating methods (C 14 and U/Th) were used to temporally constrain the deposits. The extensive studies of the cave and its contents were mostly published in journals with limited distribution and access, until the end of the 1970s, when the site became forgotten. In 2015, with the permission of the authorities, a new excavation campaign began, led by a team from Sapienza University of Rome in collaboration wit...
