Two cotype specimens are deposited in the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California, USA, under catalogue numbers 64065 (from upper pit) and 64098 (from near shaft).

Geological Setting of Type Material:

Oxidation of native As and other As-bearing primary phases, followed by later alteration by saline fluids derived from evaporating meteoric water under hyperarid conditions
