أفرو لانكسترين (بالإنجليزية: Avro Lancastrian)‏ هي طائرة ركاب وشحن، بأربعة محركات. حولت من قاذفة القنابل لانكاستر. أنتجت في 1943 ببريطانيا. من صناعة أفرو. كانت تستخدم بشكل أساسي من قبل شركة الخطوط الجوية البريطانية لما وراء البحار. كان أول طيران لها في 1943. دخلت الخدمة في 1945، انتهت خدمتها في 1960. صنع منها 91 طائرة. The Avro 691 Lancastrian was a Canadian and British passenger and mail transport aircraft of the 1940s and 1950s developed from the Avro Lancaster heavy bomber. The Lancaster was named after Lancaster, Lancashire; a Lancastrian is an inhabitant of Lancashire. The Lancastrian was basically a modified Lancaster bomber without armour or armament and with the gun turrets replaced by streamlined metal fairings, including a new nose section. The initial batch was converted directly from Lancasters; later batches were new builds. (en)

Lancastrian był bardzo podobny do Lancastera, różniący się od niego głównie tym, że usunięto z niego całe uzbrojenie, a oszklony dziób samolotu wymieniono na bardziej opływowy metalowy. L'Avro 691 Lancastrian era la versione civile del famoso bombardiere britannico Lancaster usato dalla Royal Air Force nel secondo conflitto mondiale. Si trattava dello stesso aereo, propulso da 4 potenti Rolls-Royce Merlin, a cui erano stati tolti tutti gli armamenti, fatti alcuni miglioramenti aerodinamici, aggiunti circa 10 sedili passeggeri e dei finestrini sui lati. Era un velivolo estremamente scomodo e rumoroso ma aveva il vantaggio di avere una grande autonomia per l'epoca. Ne furono costruiti 91 e fu usato da quattro compagnie aeree. Anche Alitalia ne ebbe diversi nella sua flotta dal 1947, erano usati fra l'altro per coprire la prestigiosa linea con Buenos Aires che dopo vari scali veniva raggiunta dopo circa 36 ore di volo.
