Dong Yun (died c.December 246), courtesy name Xiuzhao, was a Chinese general and politician of the state of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period of China. His father, Dong He, also served as an official in Shu. Dong Yun was one of four persons who held positions equivalent to a head of government in Shu from 221 to 253; the other three were Zhuge Liang, Jiang Wan and Fei Yi.

Nach Zhuge Liangs Tod im Jahre 234 wurde er Fei Yi unterstellt und sorgte weiterhin für die inneren Angelegenheiten. Fei Yi wurde dafür bewundert, dass er für die politischen Tagesgeschäfte stets nur den Vormittag benötigte. Als Dong Yun ihm 243 in die Position (Assistent des Regenten) folgte, merkte er bald, dass ihm das nicht gelang. Er musste den ganzen Tag arbeiten und bewunderte Fei Yis Fähigkeiten. Am Hofe er kannte er auch den schädlichen Einfluss des Eunuchen Huang Hao auf den Kaiser. Er warnte Liu Shan vor ihm und mahnte Huang Hao wiederholt, aber es half nichts. Durch Huang Hao wuchs die Korruption am Kaiserhof. Nach dem Tod des Regenten Jiang Wan (245) wählte Fei Yi Dong Yun zu seinem Assistenten, aber Dong starb kurz darauf. En l’an 223, en tant qu’Officier du Bureau de l’Intérieur, il fut mandaté, avec Du Qiong, par Liu Shan afin de retrouver Zhuge Liang pour repousser une invasion des Wei sur cinq fronts. Dong Yun fut un administrateur public très ferme et reconnu par Zhuge Liang comme étant un ministre d’une grande loyauté. Lorsque Zhuge Liang partit en guerre contre les Wei, Dong Yun, de même que Guo Youzhi et Fei Yi, furent assignés Conseillers Privés aux affaires du Palais.
