Royal Aircraft Factory F.E.2 byl britský dvoumístný stíhací a později také bombardovací letoun s tlačnou vrtulí vyráběný firmou Royal Aircraft Factory a používaný v první světové válce. Vyráběl se v několika variantách od prvních strojů F.E.2a, přes nejvíce vyráběný F.E.2b, noční stíhač i bombardér F.E.2c až po nejvýkonnější variantu F.E.2d. F.E.2 byl jedním z pilířů obrany proti letecké převaze německých Fokkerových jednoplošníků na začátku války. (cs)
Die Royal Aircraft Factory F.E.2 war ein zweisitziger britischer Bomber; die Maschine konnte aber auch als Jagdflugzeug verwendet werden. Das mit einem Druckpropeller ausgestattete Flugzeug kam ab Herbst 1915 im Ersten Weltkrieg zum Einsatz. Zusammen mit der einsitzigen Airco D.H.2 sollte sie gegen die bis dahin überlegenen deutschen Fokker-Eindecker kämpfen. (de)

El tercer modelo “F.E.2” fue operado como caza y bombardero diurno y nocturno por el Real Cuerpo Aéreo durante la Primera Guerra Mundial. Progettato da Geoffrey de Havilland e caratterizzato dalla configurazione spingente dell'unico motore che lo equipaggiava, fu un ulteriore e profondo sviluppo dello sperimentale e precedente F.E.1, destinato ad equipaggiare il Royal Flying Corps, l'allora componente aerea del British Army (l'esercito del Regno Unito), durante tutte le fasi della prima guerra mondiale.
