Educational practices shifted due to the challenges brought by COVID-19, flexible learning was adopted and most public schools used modular learning modality as a learning contingency plan for the student's academic development. Department of Education is in progress to ensure the quality of learning materials to be given to the students, in line with this, this study aimed to assess the satisfaction with Mathematics learning materials and attitude towards mathematical development of Grade 8 students. The study used descriptive and correlational research design in conducting the study. This focused on assessing the satisfaction with Mathematics learning materials and determining the perceived attitude towards mathematical development of the students. The result of the study revealed that the respondents assessed the learning materials in terms of general quality as with high quality, in terms of didactic adaptation as with high level and has the ability to motivate. Likewise, the findings show that the respondents perceived the attitude towards mathematical development in terms of interest in Mathematics, anxiety towards Mathematics, self-efficacy, extrinsic motivation, self-concept, usefulness, and value as high. Moreover, a positive significant relationship was found between the assessed satisfaction on Mathematics learning materials and the attitude toward Mathematical development. Furthermore, the findings also revealed that the implication and contribution to learning as parameters on assessed satisfaction on Mathematics learning materials singly or in combination predict the attitude towards Mathematical development. Thus, this study recommends the learning materials developers should consider the implication and contribution to learning of the material to ensure a high standard of instructional delivery to attain total learning developments of the students.

Deaf students have different abilities from students who have the ability to hear a lesson at school. Barriers to hear experienced by students with hearing impairment can affect the language, academic, and social skills of deaf students. Deaf students can still obtain information from other senses that are still functioning, such as the senses of sight, touch, taste and smell or of residual hearing that still exist. In the world of education, one way to overcome this obstacle is by making multimedia based learning materials which consider the principles of learning for learners with hearing impairment; a series of development of the elements of audio, visual, and digital technology to facilitate the learning activities of deaf students so that the passion, quality, and achievement of deaf students can be improved.

This paper established whether teachers used relevant teaching strategies, learning materials and teaching material while teaching in inclusive schools in Kenya. The Kenyan government has commitment to inclusive education (IE). However there are many challenges hindering effective provision of IE. This study adopted a mixed-methods research design that yielded both qualitative and quantitative data. Schools were sampled using stratified random sampling and purposive sampling technique with 12 Sub-counties as the strata. Simple random sampling techniques was used to select 826 learners while purposive sampling was used to select 33 deputy head teachers, 31 class teachers and 4 Educational officers. Census sampling was used to select 1 County Director of Education. Questionnaires, interview schedule, observation check lists, document analysis guide and focus group discussion were used to collect data. Reliability of the instruments were determined through split half method with the correlation coefficients of r = 0.7122 and r = 0.832 for learners and teachers' questionnaires respectively. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially by correlation. Qualitative data were transcribed and presented as emergent themes. Findings showed that the teachers employed a variety of teaching strategies in inclusive classes; however, some strategies were not responsive to learners' needs. In addition, inadequacy of resources, and lack of modification and adaptation of learning environment was observed. It is recommended that the Government of Kenya should provide relevant resources and modify the environment to be responsive to learners with SNE.

It is widely believed that learning or teaching a language in an academic environment is not possible without any materials. However, recently this argument has been put under scrutiny as to which types of materials motivate learners to learn a language. This paper focuses on the extent to which the current available ‘printed’ materials help learners to learn English as a foreign language (EFL) at Universities in Kurdistan, which is a region located in north of Iraq. Samples of the materials that are being taught at universities have been evaluated. The opinions of both English language teachers and learners have been taken into account by using ‘mixed’ method of research. Furthermore, the possibility making any changes in the materials will be another issue, this paper addresses. One aim of this paper is to discuss the impact of today’s materials on EFL learning in Kurdistan. Another aim is to give a rigorous analysis of how materials help a learner to learn English language. This ...

Abstrack Indonesia has a pretty good energy resource and the most widely used energy is fossil energy. But it becomes the limitation that the fossil energy that has been used can not be recycled into new energy. And fossil energy in Indonesia is currently experiencing a decrease in its availability. Gradually the availability of fossil energy will be exhausted from the face of the earth. To overcome the scarcity of energy, we can begin to think of renewable energy-renewable energy in the earth without realizing it. One source of energy that never runs out is wind energy. Wind energy can be developed into a useful energy for life, one of them by utilizing the energy of wind speed as a windmill Savonius, wind energy will be converted to Savonius windmill along with the components of the windmill into electrical energy that is useful for turning on the street lights.

Based on the findings, there is a low level of cognitive demand when it comes to memorization and processes without connections while somewhat high on the aspects of doing Mathematics tasks and procedures with connecting tasks, seeing that there are students which are more inclined in following patterns and routine activities. There was a significant difference on the respondents' problem-solving skills in terms of understanding, planning and look back, as proven by the increase of students achieving Exemplary and Accomplished levels after immersing themselves in said learning materials. Using Polya's model, it has been determined that learning materials are important in helping students understand the concepts presented based on their learning capacities. In addition, time is a significant factor in learning. The researcher recommends the provision of more extensive pre-test and post-test in assessing students' improvement, in addition to the development of student-specific learning materials when it comes to Mathematics. The effect of interventions or one-on-one teaching can also be examined if these will be able to influence results and further student understanding.
