Testing is an important part of every software development process on which companies devote considerable time and effort. The burgeoning web applications and their proliferating economic significance in the society made the area of web application testing an area of acute importance. The web applications generally tend to take faster and quicker release cycles making their testing very challenging. The main issues in testing are cost efficiency and bug detection efficiency. Coverage-based testing is the process of ensuring exercise of specific program elements. Coverage measurement helps determine the-thoroughness‖ of testing achieved. An avalanche of tools, techniques, frameworks came into existence to ascertain the quality of web applications. A comparative study of some of the prominent tools, techniques and models for web application testing is presented. This work highlights the current research directions of some of the web application testing techniques.

Testing is an important part of every software development process on which companies devote considerable time and effort. The burgeoning web applications and their proliferating economic significance in the society made the area of web application testing an area of acute importance. The machining technologies and modern intelligent systems are expensive and require easy handling and integrated-able machine with various devices to perform multiple machining tasks. Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machines are accessible by manufacturers to perform several machining tasks due to effectiveness in handling accuracy. The majority of CNC machines are costly due to it complex but efficient machine and software design. This project is aimed to develop a cost effective and easily integrate-able CNC Machine System that is accessible to add-on Nd-Yag Laser Device. The deliberate mechanical design and the path of laser beam entering the machine and exiting the laser-head with intended electronics control structure controlled by CNC software is developed. The designed CNC Nd-Yag laser Machine is a teaching tool for workshop and is targeted to perform laser cutting and suitable engraving or welding tasks for small and medium scale industries. By testing the machine its expected positional accuracy was achieved and the control mechanism for Nd-Yag laser path reflection function was successfully tested.

Different tools have a different approach, software testing is a process that detects the defects and minimizes the risk associated with the defects within the software. Security Testing Tool is Software Metrics provide information to support the quantitative managerial decision making of the test managers. Among the various metrics, the code coverage metric is considered to be the most important, and is often used in the analysis of software projects in the industries. The Paper Focuses on Designing Automated Software Testing Tool and also Implementation of different methods at different areas where general tools will not support automatically. Most of the Testers are depending on the manual testing due to difficulty in identifying the appropriate tool for the application to be tested; it is easier using network methodologies and algorithms automatic implementation of tools at different coverage software tests. The tool also covers the job of test manager in selecting appropriate tool from the designed pack of Testing Tool.

IN compliance with the Automated Election System (AES) Law, or Republic Act 8436 of 1997, as amended by RA 9369 of 2007, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) conducted the mock elections exercise in Metro Manila and six provinces to test the election system to be used in the forthcoming national and local elections on May 9 this year. The technical evaluation committee headed by the Department of Science and Technology will soon come out with its test certification report about its assessment of that exercise.

Quality of Service (QoS) has gained more importance with the increase in usage and adoption of web services. In recent years, various tools and techniques developed for measurement and evaluation of QoS of web services. There are commercial as well as open-source tools available today which are being used for monitoring and testing QoS for web services. These tools facilitate in QoS measurement and analysis and are helpful in evaluation of service performance in real-time network. In this paper, we describe three popular open-source tools and compare them in terms of features, usability, performance, and software requirements. Results of the comparison will help in adoption and usage of these tools, and also promote development and usage of open-source web service testing tools.

The test cases are generated manually as well as automatically to test software product. Manual test case generation require more time and cost than automatic test case generation. Automated generated test cases decrease the time and cost of testing process. Nowadays software companies are turning towards automated test case generation. After the generation of test cases, there is need to optimize the generated test cases. For their optimization we will apply artificial intelligence techniques. The genetic algorithm is based on the evolutionary ideas of natural selection and genetics. Genetic Algorithm (GA), a heuristic search algorithm is used for optimization. Here, we will integrate tabu search algorithm with genetic algorithm (GTSA) for optimization the result using an analysis of data.
