Now a days accidents are increasing more and more, so safety has acquired a priority. Improper usage of brakes is also one of the problems for accident. The project idea is to improve the safety parameters regarding to brakes. Sudden recognition of any object in front panics the driver, at that situation normal drivers fail to use brakes correctly this leads accident, taking the driver reaction time into account we will try to assist the driver by doing this we can avoid accidents and hence can increase safety.

The purpose of this study was to determine the motives, the brakes and the ways of using Social Networking Sites (SNS) based on dimensional models that describe national cultural values explaining and predicting behavior. The study used a qualitative method, we conducted face-to-face in-depth interviews with 32 Tunisian, 29 Indian, 20 Pakistani, 20 French and 20 Cana-dian participants. The data was collected and transcribed in each of the five countries by independent researchers for each country. However, the analysis of the data was carried out by a single researcher to eliminate bias. We concluded that cultural environment influences the way people communicate and use social networking sites. The sources of motivation, the brakes and the reasons for the non-use of SNS also depend on cultural aspects of each society. We conducted an intercontinental study where the countries studied represent the four continents of the World, namely North America, Africa, Asia and Europe.

Braking systems in motor vehicles generally use a braking system that utilizes friction. The braking performance will decrease caused by using friction rapidly. To overcome this, as an alternative, an electromagnetic braking system can be used by utilizing eddy currents, such as eddy current brakes (ECB). Eddy currents are generated when the rotor pass the magnetic field of the electromagnet. The research aim is to design an ECB system. The performance of the disk design will be determined in this study. The study is about the tendency of the ECB properties. The finite element (FEM) method is used by modeling ECB performance. The experimental results were used to validate the result. The test showed the results of braking using aluminum disk showed the best performance in 12.03 Nm. From these results, the combination of the disks is needed by an appropriate disk design.

In this study, the effect of anti oxidant additives on performance and emissions of a biofuelled engine was investigated experimentally and compared with diesel fuel. For this study four fuel sample including B0 (100% diesel fuel), B100 (100% palm biodiesel), B35 (35% palm biodiesel and 65% diesel) and B35+1% (B35 with 1% additives) was used in a multi cylinder compression ignition engine. Performance and emissions were investigated at various engine speeds of 1500 rpm to 4000 rpm at an interval of 250 rpm and with 50% throttle opening. To evaluate the performance characteristics brake power (BP), brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC) and exhaust temperature were tested where as incase of emissions test nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), total hydrocarbon (THC) and carbon dioxide (CO2) were measured. The results showed that using 1% anti oxidant additive with higher percentages (35%) of palm biodiesel blend gave 2.7% lower brake power but it significantly reduced exhaust emissions including NOx emissions than diesel fuel. Based on this study fuel "B35+1%" (35% biodiesel with 1% additives) was achieved as a promising alternative fuel for compression ignition engine. © Sila Science.

A comparative analysis is being performed of the engine performance and exhaust emission on a gasoline and compressed natural gas (CNG) fueled retrofitted spark ignition car engine. A new 1.6 L, 4-cylinder petrol engine was converted to the computer incorporated bi-fuel system which operated with either gasoline or CNG using an electronically controlled solenoid actuated valve mechanism. The engine brake power, brake specific fuel consumption, brake thermal efficiency, exhaust gas temperature and exhaust emissions (unburnt hydrocarbon, carbon mono-oxide, oxygen and carbon dioxides) were measured over a range of speed variations at 50% and 80% throttle positions through a computer based data acquisition and control system. Comparative analysis of the experimental results showed 19.25% and 10.86% reduction in brake power and 15.96% and 14.68% reduction in brake specific fuel consumption (BSFC) at 50% and 80% throttle positions respectively while the engine was fueled with CNG compared to that with the gasoline. Whereas, the retrofitted engine produced 1.6% higher brake thermal efficiency and 24.21% higher exhaust gas temperature at 80% throttle had produced an average of 40.84% higher NOx emission over the speed range of 1500-5500 rpm at 80% throttle. Other emission contents (unburnt HC, CO, O2 and CO2) were significantly lower than those of the gasoline emissions. © 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
