Multi-particle quantum statistical correlations measured in the collisions of heavy nuclei at the unrivaled energies. Remarkable consequences have been observed and speculated that such significant repercussions may arise due to non-chaotic and granular nature particle emanated sources. To study such kind of chaotic fraction as well as the particles emission, we have demonstrated and analyzed the ejection of particles from the disseminated agglomeration of tiny droplets which produced quantum statistics multi-particle correlations which do not only reflect the size of the fluid droplets but also contribute the specific clues about the congenital properties of chaos-coherence matter produced during the collisions. Such correlations possess the existence of gesture of the mixed-phase of chaotic and coherent fractions in the considered collisions. The main object of this research is that we investigate the intrinsic properties of produced matter by intensity correlations to utilize it in engineering applications. The purpose of these findings is to analyze the meticulous correlations to expedite the nature of the particle ejecting sources and observe remarkable suppression in the cumulant correlations relative to the full three and four particles interferences in the granular nature sources.

Creativity is said to be highly desired in post-modern and post-industrial organizations. Creativity and anarchy on the one hand, and managerialism, on the other, can be seen as different forms of knowledge, two opposed ideals. In many organizational as well as societal reforms we currently observe it is the managerialist ideal that wins over the anarchic. In this paper, we wonder if people fear anarchy? We reflect on the possible reasons for the fear, and we also try to explain why we believe that anarchic organizing should not be avoided or feared.

In this paper generation of binary sequences derived from chaotic sequences defined over Z 4 is proposed. The six chaotic map equations considered in this paper are Logistic map, Tent Map, Cubic Map, Quadratic Map and Bernoulli Map. Using these chaotic map equations, sequences over Z 4 are generated which are converted to binary sequences using polynomial mapping. Segments of sequences of different lengths are tested for cross correlation and linear complexity properties. It is found that some segments of different length of these sequences have good cross correlation and linear complexity properties. The Bit Error Rate performance in DS-CDMA communication systems using these binary sequences is found to be better than Gold sequences and Kasami sequences.

According to a previous conjecture, spatial and temporal Lyapunov exponents of chaotic extended systems can be obtained from derivatives of a suitable function, the entropy potential. The validity and the consequences of this hypothesis are explored in detail. The numerical investigation of a continuous-time model provides a further confirmation to the existence of the entropy potential. Furthermore, it is shown that the knowledge of the entropy potential allows determining also Lyapunov spectra in general reference frames where the time-like and space-like axes point along generic directions in the space-time plane. Finally, the existence of an entropy potential implies that the integrated density of positive exponents ͑Kolmogorov-Sinai entropy͒ is independent of the chosen reference frame. © 1997 American Institute of Physics. ͓S1054-1500͑97͒02704-3͔ Out-of-equilibrium systems give rise to a rich variety of phenomena that are often dealt with using ad hoc methods. The existentialists, anthropologists, neuropsychologists and cognitivists have explored several aspects of the phenomenological ontology of Being revealing the dialectical complex experience of existing and being conscious of existing. A question remains: what does it mean to feel existing? Our investigation reveals thedistinction between the feeling of existence and the experience of being-in-this-world complexityas both paradoxical and chaotic. We present how the ontic-being feels chaos and deals with this paradox of experienced existing within thesystemic contingency of a timelessness and spacelessness intertwined world. We discover how our modern culture comes to offer an orderly frame of reference adding to a semantic complexity while the actual experience of living creates a feeling of deeper sense of chaotic embeddedness in this world. We discuss the implications of this mode of experienced complexity between paradox and chaos in terms of inner disorder along with a mixed sense of spleen and courage.

The onset of dynamical chaos is studied numerically in (2+1)-dimensional non-Abelian field theory with the Chern-Simons topological term. In the limit of strong fields, slowly varying in space (spatially homogeneous fields), this theory is an analog to a system of three charged particles moving in a plane in an orthogonal magnetic field and under the influence of a quartic potential. The ‘‘phase transition’’ (order chaos) is observed within a narrow energy range. The threshold of the transition depends on the sign of the angular momentum of the field reflecting parity violation in the underlying field theory. The transition region is investigated in some detail and the hyperfine structure of order-chaos-order-... transitions is observed suggesting the necessity of probabilistic description.

This study examines that in what aspects the levels of leaders' emotional intelligence in chaos and complexity situations can affect the organizations. Also, in this study the dimensions of emotional intelligence which are closely related to social life and organizational systems will be considered in terms of chaos and complexity theories. At the same time in this study, how a situation that appears to be complex but has an order inside and has the potential to be directed with small interventions can be handled by a leader that has a high capacity of using his/her emotional intelligence will be scrutinised. Additionally, this study will present the advantages of some leader capabilities (such as personal and interpersonal relationships, stress management, adaptability, general mood, empathy, motivation and self-awareness) in the management of the organizations in the context of chaos and complexity theories. Last but not least, the effect of emotional intelligence level in the...

Organizations in the 21 st century deal with constant changes such as globalization, technological evolutions, regulatory changes, competition, and other unexpected events, among others. These challenges can be viewed and addressed through the lenses of contemporary theories. This paper selected three contemporary theories namely chaos, complexity, and contingency theories, and presented their foundations and characteristics by comparing and contrasting their key concepts. These concepts include nonlinearity, feedback, bifurcation, strange attractors, fractals, and self-organization for chaos theory; nonlinearity, dynamism, feedback, self-organization, emergence, and adaptability for complexity theory; and adaptation, equifinality, effectiveness, and congruency for contingency theory. Examples of studies and organizational applications of these theories were provided, and implications for scholars and organizational leaders were discussed. By explaining notions such as how the capacity of a system could be greater than the sum of the capacities of its subunits, this paper can act as a starting point for anyone seeking to understand the three theories or use them for research or organizational purposes.

In this expository and resources chapter we review selected aspects of the mathematics of dynamical systems, stability, and chaos, within a historical framework that draws together two threads of its early development: celestial mechanics and control theory, and focussing on qualitative theory. From this perspective we show how concepts of stability enable us to classify dynamical equations and their solutions and connect the key issues of nonlinearity, bifurcation, control, and uncertainty that are common to time-dependent problems in natural and engineered systems. We discuss stability and bifurcations in three simple model problems, and conclude with a survey of recent extensions of stability theory to complex networks.

The landmark for speculative realism book of Q. Meillassoux solves the problem of gaining access to the “reality as it is”. The arguments are put forward against correlationism of classical philosophy, the main of which is the refusal of the principle of necessity of sufficient foundation to the benefit of the principle of contingent facticity. As the new “non-dogmatic” Absolute in introduced the notion of mathematized Chaos. The post-theoretical (speculative) realism is the reflection of expansion of the artificial virtual reality that claims the paradigmatic explanation of all things in existence. As the converted form of philosophy computer science, he substantiates the finitude of the substantive physical reality by depriving human of his lifeworld. This is the version of nihility and manifestation of apophatic state of modern consciousness. Speculative realism is opposed to the philosophy of phenomenological substantialism. Analysis of the text demonstrates that this is essentialistic analogy of the ideas of structuralism, ontology of communication and synergetics that were formulated more persuasively in the methodology of science. Preservation of Homo Genus is attainable only in terms of preserving his lifeworld as the facticity of “realization” of one of the possible worlds. The philosophy of such approach leans on the dialectics of nonlinear interaction between the necessary and contingent, which allows the existence of various scenarios without rescinding the causes of origin.

Chaos reigns—at least in the historiography of the Raj. It was once the consensus among historians that British imperial authority in the Indian subcontinent was secure for at least the century-and-a-half before the Second World War. Recently, however, this narrative has drawn a range of challenges. Prominently, Mark Condos and Jon Wilson have held that British imperial authority was chronically insecure. In their view the irrational anxiety of generations of British officials produced a chaotic administration with minimal social purchase or ideological coherence. Instead of a confident state capable of acting as it chose, these historians have limned a psychologically embattled one incapable of acting except in the abstract, small-scale, or short-term. Their bold revision succeeds in dispelling the aura of indomitability that has often surrounded the Raj, and in directing attention to its overlooked discontents and weaknesses. Yet their characterization of the British regime as constantly and pervasively anxious is more an article of faith than a conclusion warranted by evidence. Nor do they explain how, if the regime suffered from permanent ‘chaos’ or ‘insecurity’, it managed to survive for some two hundred years. At the heart of Condos and Wilson’s approach is an effort to bypass texts that results, instead, in misreading them. It is largely by reemphasizing rigorous textual methods, therefore, that Durba Ghosh offers a compelling alternative approach to the history of state vulnerability and disorder.

Mostly studied within the mythical and mystical traditions, MacEwen’s use of scientific themes in her work has been overlooked, but what role does science play in her never-ending mystical quest? The misapplication of nuclear physics and radioactivity, neutrons, protons, atoms, cosmic space, “magnetic seas,” or even the mystery enclosed in the universe, recurrently appear in her work. Cosmology and theoretical physics often fuse in her poems together with her insistence that uncontrolled consumerism and technology should be bounded by some measure of ethics. The aim of this essay is to elucidate the links between her humanist and scientific interests, and to explain how, through the image of dance, as a symbol of synthesis, the author attempts to construct a myth. Other symbols such as time, consumerism and appetite, and the pattern of the inward-outward (or spatial) journey are also be studied.

T he CHAOS Report 2015 is a model for future CHAOS Reports. There have only been two previous CHAOS Reports, the original in 1994 and the 21 st edition of 2014. This new type of CHAOS Report focuses on presenting the data in different forms with many charts. Most of the charts come from the new CHAOS database from the fiscal years 2011 to 2015. The CHAOS fiscal year starts March 1 and runs until the end of February. A few of the charts are from the new SURF database to highlight certain information. The purpose of this report is to present the data in the purest form without much analysis and little thought leadership. Analysis and thought leadership are offered in the CHAOS Manifesto series of reports. Another major change is how we define success. We have multiple definitions, including our newest. We coded the new CHAOS database with six individual attributes of success: OnTime, OnBudget, OnTarget, OnGoal, Value, and Satisfaction. Our Traditional definition is OnTime, OnBudget, and OnTarget. This means the project was resolved within a reasonable estimated time, stayed within budget, and contained a good number of the estimated features and functions. Our new Modern definition is OnTime, OnBudget, with a satisfactory result. This means the project was resolved within a reasonable estimated time, stayed within budget, and delivered customer and user satisfaction regardless of the original scope. We have the flexibility to present the results for one to six of these attributes in any combination.

The Navier-Stokes differential equations describe the motion of fluids which are incompressible. The three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations misbehave very badly although they are relatively simple-looking. The solutions could wind up being extremely unstable even with nice, smooth, reasonably harmless initial conditions. A mathematical understanding of the outrageous behaviour of these equations would dramatically alter the
field of fluid mechanics. This paper describes why the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations are not solvable, i.e., the equations cannot be used to model turbulence, which is
a three-dimensional phenomenon.

In questo modo si ha il vantaggio di cominciare direttamente da un'immagine invece di crearne una dalle lettere. Tuttavia lo
svantaggio principale risiede nel fatto che l'immagine può essere facilmente interpretata dal subconscio in maniera scorretta.

Cloud computing security issues are being reported in newspapers, television, and on the Internet, on a daily basis. Furthermore, in 2013, Edward Snowden alleged backdoors were placed in a number of encryption systems by the National Security Agency causing confidence in public encryption to drop even further. Our solution allows the end-user to add a layer of unbreakable security by encrypting the data locally with a random number generator prior to uploading data to the Cloud. The prototype one-time pad generator is impervious to cryptanalysis because it generates unbreakable random binary sequences from chaos sources initiated from a natural noise. Specialised one-to-Cloud applications for this device means key distribution problems do not exist, even when used at different locations. A JavaScript application maximised the encryptor key entropy using a von Neumann algorithm and modulotwo arithmetic, where the key passed the National Institute of Standards and Technology statistic...

In this paper, we discuss some applications of exciting fields like Mathematics, Statistics, Medical, Biological Sciences, Engineering, Economics etc. We show their real-life applications both theoretically and analytically considering some phenomena of the nature. We mainly focused on some applications of dynamical system in real life cases known as chaos, iteration, fractal geometry, Mandelbrot and Julia sets. We derive some mathematical formula concerning dynamical systems. Necessary programs are considered for all cases. We use Mathematica and MATLAB to perform programming.

Batman and Joker are two of the most famous characters born on the pages of a superheroic comic book. Their popularity goes far beyond the paper world they are from: it reaches every mass culture’s corner. The symbolic strength of those characters and their resonance on the collective imagination is not restricted to entertainment phenomena but reaches psychological, literary, anthropological and philosophical themes and concepts. It is from the philosophical point of view that I intend to analyse the relationship between the dark knight and the clown prince of crime.
I will refer to Friedrich Nietzsche’s philosophy, namely his analysis of the Apollonian and Dionysian concept, in order to analyse the relationship between Batman and his nemesis. Joker as a chaotic and irrational force on the one side and Batman, who tries with all his strength to oppose the chaos and absurdity, marking his life since the murder of his parents on the other side. I will show how this fight embodies the eternal struggle between the two Nietzschean principles.
First, I will investigate Batman and Joker’s birth: why do they create a whole new identity? How is Joker’s reaction to suffering and irrationality different from Batman’s one? I will then dig deeper into the relationship and the fight between the two enemies, focusing mainly on the balance of their morbid relationship. Finally, taking into consideration the Nietzschean concept of the Übermensch, I will try to understand if one of the two characters comes to incarnate the Beyond-Man described by the German philosopher.
I will mainly refer to the most emblematic stories lived by the two characters, which are: Alan Moore’s The Killing Joke, The Dark Knight Returns and Batman: Year One by Frank Miller, Grant Morrison’s Arkham Asylum and The Death of the Family and End Game by Scott Snyder.

The future reference on the technology age and strategic plans serve as an accelerator in the phenomenon at chaos. Chaos phenomenon makes the concept of planning meaningless and contradicts with the process of strategic management. The prediction that both the necessary and risky game that we play from now on about our future is the main problem in our study on the paradox of the strategic management approach. Within this framework, the perspective called " Strategy Management and Leadership, Strategic Chaos Management Approach" is being discussed as a new alternative point of view to our study.
